Oral-B

Been using this app every day for about a year, and for some reason recently it has stopped recognising which area of my mouth I am brushing. So when I’m brushing my upper teeth, it shows I am brushing the bottom teeth. It’s therefore sometimes impossible to finish the session, and I keep going until it starts warning me I’m brushing too long. It was great for a year, but something changed recently, and now it’s unusable.

Can’t get our io3s connected to it. What’s wrong?

Nice easy to use app

My toothbrush io3 new doesn’t connect with the app or Bluetooth, neither my husband toothbrush…

I have tried absolutely everything and followed every instruction and the toothbrush simply does not connect to the app. Waste of time.

I certainly see the benefits and strengths of this toothbrush. The ability to see where I’m brushing and how well (in theory) is very clever; and the pressure sensor is very clever. However, I have some issues which stop it from being perfect. Firstly, it sometimes gets confused as to what teeth are being brushed, and sometimes it doesn’t show any of them being brushed; even if it is. My other main issue is the fact that recently, it hasn’t logged my brushing. Of course, while not the end of the world, it does things like show my average time brushing this week as 1 minute and 9 seconds; which I know isn’t true. Overall, it’s a clever idea, which certainly has its strengths. However, it’s held back by some hardware or software issues (Which one, I’m not sure) which at times, can make it difficult to fully use to the best of its potential

I’m brushing the middle but it keeps saying the side

App does not work, my oral io series 3 is falsely advertised as a “smart” toothbrush. It is a regular overpriced electric toothbrush. Very disappointed even though the packaging gives me QR code to connect to app and yes my bluetooth is on and works fine with all other devices.

Usually hasn’t got a clue where the brush is and when it doesn’t record full coverage, messes the next one up saying it’s unguided and acts as if it’s a continuation of the last session, even if they’re one night to the next morning. No option for feedback other than a review like this. Good idea, average at best execution.

I am a child and I brought the i08 oral b toothbrush. It is a great toothbrush and it encourages me to brush twice a day but when I am brushing an area of my mouth on the app it never seems to say I am brushing that part and it drives me mad since it wastes my 2 minutes of brushing but then I get a low score. This problem occurred about after a few days of using it. Since of the issue I am getting a low brush score when I am brushing for 2 minutes like my dentists have told me to. But overall the app works well and I would recommend to get the i0 toothbrushes especially the i08 and above ( though mine was £140 ) it is worth it.
