It is quick and easy to use. I love that I can sort by progestin type, name, etc. The problem is that there are multiple new generics out there and the app hasn’t been updated to reflect this. It gives you the brand & generic names, phasing, cycle and equivalent pills. You can also arrange by estrogen dose, progestin type etc. They also threw in a contraceptive efficacy chart. My only complaints however, are that the app has not been updated since 2011, which makes me wonder if the information is up to date. Also, the interface needs to be updated and optimized to keep up with current technology. This app provides great information only about OCPs. There is a handy chart for contraceptive methods' effectiveness. The chart lists methods other than birth control pills (i.e. Depo, Patch, NuvaRing, IUDs). Perhaps this app could be expanded to include other contraceptive methods since many women use methods other than OCP.
