ORCA Oceanwatchers are our army of volunteers who look out for whales and dolphins around the UK coastline and out at sea, recording vital scientific data about the amazing marine wildlife we see on our doorstep. After taking part in one of our online training courses at www.orcaweb.org.uk/train, you will be able to join this incredible network, using this brand new smartphone app to record the animals you see, as well as the environmental conditions around them. You can then head to the coast to watch from a cliff top, or if you are out at sea you can record data from whatever ship or boat you might be on. FEATURES: - Conduct scientific surveys as an ORCA Oceanwatcher, collect data to help ORCA's conservation work - Intuitive design able to help you positively identify the species you have seen - Easy-to-use interface to make the process of recording high quality scientific data as simple as possible - Ability to review your survey history to look back on previous encounters and track your journey as an ORCA Oceanwatcher - Species guide with key information on the most commonly encounter whale and dolphin species around the UK This app is 100% FREE but to collect data you will need to take an ORCA Oceanwatchers course. You can register at www.orcaweb.org.uk/train. ## ORCA Oceanwatchers Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource122/v4/43/8e/78/438e78bb-07ed-e05a-6be8-2e9144a5a32c/4a3ad3ba-5041-4d48-b750-dc0378186467_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2022-06-09_at_10.02.39_home_framed.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/30/a2/ad/30a2ade3-d582-24ec-d7b3-9b96dd14ba0f/24dc069e-6670-4c64-89e2-0141f5a47dad_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2022-06-09_at_10.03.32_profile_framed.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/7b/68/01/7b680163-8e97-ac2b-6ba1-de51f2df1d46/461d7e2d-2c22-4b61-a819-eca9e62f6c56_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2022-06-09_at_10.03.14_guide_framed.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/af/ca/09/afca09eb-3a9a-ede0-491b-11b585ad251b/6bc33f07-2bf0-494c-90b9-3ac4915d16da_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2022-06-09_at_10.15.50_timeline_framed.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource122/v4/51/57/88/515788e9-fb05-ea91-6a31-2c672d90f576/0e446cc8-7ce2-445f-ac0d-64ef0c0029b1_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2022-06-09_at_10.12.59_map_framed.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource122/v4/f1/d6/39/f1d639c7-a40e-2577-5432-52fe97bb9417/ac09333a-2e48-4b11-a599-ff04b105a6a0_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2022-06-09_at_10.16.33_sumary_framed.png/1242x2688.png) ## ORCA Oceanwatchers Rating Breakdown in United Kingdom - 5 stars: 15 (88%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 2 (12%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## ORCA Oceanwatchers Reviews in United Kingdom ### ***-- "Would work with more input" ORCA is an amazing organisation and should focus more with this app it would be great for there surveyors, but right now you can’t add from land and from sea, just from shipping boat. I love the artwork but just needs some love and care :) -- /:;(;-£&@);-...., 2023-06-09 ### ***-- "Latest update lacking."
