## Orchard Description
Orchard is for collectors of vintage Apple hardware.

Whether you’re hunting a Macintosh SE/30 with an original analog board, restoring an iMac G4 to its sunflower glory, or just trying to remember exactly which PowerBook you owned in college, Orchard helps you keep track of every Mac you’ve ever owned, the ones you’re still chasing, and the people who can help you finish the job.

CATALOG EVERY MAC YOU OWN
Track each unit by model, year, condition, serial number, and provenance. Add photos. Note repair history. Keep the dates of recaps and battery swaps. Mark items complete-in-box and grade them on a 1-10 scale.

BUILD A WANTLIST WORTH SHOWING
Add the models you're hunting and the parts you need. Choose whether to keep your wantlist private or let other collectors find you when they have what you’re looking for.

DEEP REFERENCE FOR EVERY MODEL
Browse hundreds of Macs from the 128K to today. Specs, original prices, support status, design era, predecessor and successor models, even known quirks and recap notes. Curated rails surface iconic machines, the most-collected models, and the threads with active discussion right now.

DISCUSSIONS THAT FEEL LIKE THE OLD FORUMS
Restoration walkthroughs, parts wanted threads, show-and-tell, and technical help — categorized so you can find what you need. Reply with markdown; the keyboard toolbar handles the syntax for you.

WRITE AND READ REPAIR GUIDES
Difficulty ratings, parts lists, markdown bodies. Write the guide you wish someone had written for you, or follow the one a more experienced collector left behind.

SIGN IN WITH APPLE OR EMAIL
Whichever you prefer. Push notifications when someone replies to your thread or comments on your collection. Your collection is private until you decide otherwise — every visibility setting defaults to off.

Built by collectors, for collectors. Orchard is in active development; we ship updates frequently.
