Impressive Open Source Map App

This app is a true gem in the world of map services, and I want to give a massive shoutout to the developers for their incredible work. What really sets Organic Maps apart is its unwavering commitment to being open and transparent. Unlike other map apps out there, this one doesn't bombard you with annoying ads or push you to make in-app payments. It's such a breath of fresh air to have a map service that focuses solely on delivering a top-notch user experience without any distractions. Sure, Organic Maps may not have all the fancy features you'll find in OsmAnd, but its dedication to being open source more than makes up for it. I really admire the simplicity and reliability it offers. It has become my go-to companion for all my navigation needs. That being said, I do have a small suggestion for improvement. It would be fantastic if the app could provide better editing tools. For instance, having the option to view comments from other contributors would greatly enhance the editing and collaborative experience. This would make it easier for users like me to actively contribute to the map and help make it even more accurate and up-to-date. To sum it all up, Organic Maps is hands down one of the best map services out there, and it truly deserves all the recognition it can get. It's like a breath of fresh air in a world cluttered with ads and in-app purchases. A huge thank you to the developers for creating this remarkable open source app. Keep up the fantastic work, and I can't wait to see what's in store for the future!

there is only a couple of privacy-respecting gps maps in existence. and this is one of my favorites. i have been using it during cycling and it has done well in determining biking routes. i like the streamlined interface, battery efficiency, and ease of use. never crashed in my experience. for now, it is lacking in one area: saving and exporting routes. i like to plan my biking path ahead of time but one cannot save or export planned routes, so one has to prepare the route close to starting it. also, it would be nice if one can export the saved tracks. hope the developers will consider these features as these will be helpful to planning for hikes and bike tours. great app nevertheless.
