Old good app

Becoming better and better

Great all around option

This map was my mainstay during two years hiking in various places around the world. Fun fact: Organic maps is developed by the team that made Malsme. This new and improved incarnation of Mapsme is more user friendly and totally free.

Amazing from design to functionality . Not just a marketing it's really good in everything s.

Useless

For a map, this is poorly done. I live by a major river with many trails and none show up. There is no key for markings. Can’t tell a bike path from a railroad from a dirt trail.

Promising maps app

I love the lightweight nature of the maps app, looking forward to incorporating this into my day to day use and replace this as my default maps app!

It’s a nice map, but…

…it does a very bad job at planning bicycle routes. If I didn’t already knew the directions, the routing would take me all over the place, starting with going to the opposite direction, and then routing me through streets with heavy traffic, as opposed to using official cycling routes with minimal or no traffic. So for bicycle routes it’s great if you already know the directions (in which case why would I even use routing), or it’s great for general location mapping, eg if you are walking somewhere and you get lost you can check where the heck you are.

One of the best maps for hikers!

I really appreciate how precisely this app tracks hiking routes — it makes planning my trips much easier.
