Oticon Companion provides you with discreet, improved control over your hearing aids – so you can personalize your listening experience for any environment, find your hearing aids if they become lost, get remote support from your hearing care professional when you need it, and much more.
The Oticon Companion App is compatible with all Oticon Bluetooth® hearing aids. However, some app features may require a specific hearing aid model or a firmware update. Please consult your hearing care professional for assistance with firmware updates.
With Oticon Companion, you can:
• Adjust the volume of your hearing aids and various settings (e.g. remote microphone, noise reduction, and sound and streaming equalizer)
• Switch between predefined programs according to the different listening situation you are in
• Monitor your battery levels
• Help you find your hearing aids if you lose them
• Use SpeechBooster to reduce background noise and enhance speech when you need to focus on conversation.
• Use your device as a remote microphone and get better access to the voice of another speaker in noisy environments
• Customize your surrounding sounds with the sound equalizer*
• Set and track hearing aid wear-time goals with the HearingFitness™ feature*
• Use the streaming equalizer for a personalized listening experience. The streaming equalizer is available for all Oticon Bluetooth® hearing aids except Oticon Opn™ and Oticon Siya
• Have your hearing aids adjusted and receive counseling from the comfort of your own home – via a live video call with your hearing care professional
• Handle wireless accessories paired with your hearing aids; control multiple TV Adapters or devices, such as Oticon EduMic or ConnectClip, which can be used both for streaming and as a remote microphone

I have had oticon hearing aids for 3 years. The previous app worked most of the time although it was buggy and difficult to use and unreliable. This current version is completely useless and does not work at all. It doesn’t pair with my iPhone and I can no longer stream audio to the hearing aids
App has improved
The app updates has improved. It connects with the hearing aids, much quicker and the overall use the app has vastly improved
Not consistent
First few years was great though past year it’s always dropping out, I have to keep deleting app or turn sides on off until it connects with my phone. I went on holiday and it would not connect no matter what I did. Won’t be buying these aides again, only using app because I have to atm

My only gripe with app is it can only be activated on one device at a time,it hard when you are using two devices at the same time
Frustration
Like so many other reviewers I find this app incredibly frustrating. Like others I find Zi have to delete the app, reinstall it on order to have my hearing aids connected. I’m writing today because for the last two days Zi cannot get my left hearing did yo connect. What I find totally disconcerting is the tardiness the company is taking in fixing obviously common problems. In fact I wonder about the ethics of marketing an app that fails to do what’s claimed for it.
Latest update seems to have solved issues
This app has been very disappointing for the last couple of years, including my needing to restart my iPhone in order to get the app to connect to my hearing aids. However the latest update seems to have solved my issues with it, and it now connects automatically - fingers crossed that continues to be the case!
Never ending issues
I am so disappointed in this app. Everyday I have issues. I waste my time & energy trying to fix the problems.
Oticon companion
The most useless ap ever conceived. Won’t open and when it finally does it won’t connect to hearing aids. Obviously developer is not interested as all complaints in reviews have not been acted on
Resolved an issue
After upgrading to IOS 17.4 when bringing the app to the foreground I had to go through the connect ion process every time. After posting this issue I ended up working it out. I had to go into the Hearing Devices in the IPhone settings and run through the Forget Device and then readd my hearing aid and this resolved the issue with having to reconnect every time I open the app. In the end I still prefer the Oticon On app but will put up with this app unhappily.
