## Oticon Companion Description
This app lets you control your hearing aids from your mobile device. It comes with an app for Apple Watch helping you discreetly change programs and adjust volume (when within Bluetooth range).

Just a note: some features may be available depending on your hearing aid model. Check below for details.

•	Adjust sound volume for each hearing aid together or separately
•	Mute surroundings for better focus
•	Switch between programs set by your hearing care professional
•	Check battery levels
•	Use SpeechBooster to reduce background noise and enhance speech (available for all hearing aid models except Oticon Zeal™, Jet PX, Zircon, Opn™, Ruby) 
•	Stream calls, music, and podcasts directly to your hearing aids (availability may vary depending on your phone model)
•	Find your hearing aids if lost (requires location services always turned on)
•	Access app support and troubleshooting solutions
•	Meet your hearing care professional for an online visit (by appointment)
•	Adjust streaming sounds with streaming equalizer (available for all hearing aid models except Oticon Opn™ and Oticon Siya)
•	Adjust sounds around you with sound equalizer (available for Oticon Zeal™,  Oticon Intent™ and Oticon Real™ models)
•	Track your progress with HearingFitness™ feature (available for Oticon Zeal™, Oticon Intent™ and Oticon Real™ models)
•	Handle wireless accessories paired with your hearing aids such as TV Adapters, Oticon EduMic or ConnectClip
•	Connect to and adjust an Auracast™ broadcast (available for Oticon Intent™ and Oticon Zeal™ models) 

First use:
You need to pair your hearing aids with this app to use it to control your hearing aids. 

App availability:
The app is compatible with most hearing aid models. If you have hearing aids from 2016-2018 and haven't updated them yet, a hearing aid update is required for this app to work. We recommend regular hearing aid updates during your routine check-up with your hearing care professional.

For optimal performance, we recommend updating your device to iOS 15.2 or later.

At times. Does not connect automatically unless app is opened. On watch too disconnects any one hearing aid randomly.

I like that the app is reasonably simple to use but there are some aspects that don't work well for me, perhaps because I use an iPhone 14. This means the standard manual isn’t quite right in places. 

The app sometimes (more often than I would like) has trouble pairing with the aids when I first put them on. I have to use the phone Settings to forget the aids and then ask to re-pair them.

Also every time I want to look at my hours of use I get an error message and I have to click OK, and then I get to the usage. Annoying.

I have deleted and reinstalled the app so many times now it’s ridiculous…either  only one of my hearing aids link and not the other or when trying to connect I get spinning disks ….this is precious wasted time 
Oticon please !! There have to be developers out there who can produce a descent App …how long do we have to shout about the app …your company will carry the same poor reviews soon

I have to agree with an earlier review of this app, the previous version was much more user friendly.
This morning opened app to check battery life before leaving home. First page where you can have general or option to override background noise this would change between the options. Usually it just spins around for 3-4 minutes with no result which is super frustrating. I then changed to the battery level screen where I was informed both batteries are disconnected despite the fact I can hear they are not!!!
Based on the very low score on the reviews cant you just go back to the previous version that works?
