I agree with Terrible App. I have had the same issues. Now I can’t connect. I never had problems with OTicon On. This companion is horrible! Now I can’t connect. I deleted the app and reinstalling to see if it helps.
Everything was fine with the old app, can’t sync to my iPhone which was the only real use for my hearing aids.
This app is dismal. It fails at pairing to iPad, the screen is portrait only, won't rotate. Developers responded to support with the lame "continually improving " reply which is TOTAL B S. The old app worked. This one just doesn't work. I cancelled my follow up visit to the audiologist due to the abysmal response by Oticon to support requests. Can't recommend their product anymore. $6K for devices and an app that is a total waste. Oticon, time to step up!
I’m 25 y/o and unfortunately had to get hearing aid in my R ear. I mentioned my age because you read a these comments and may assume that people are having issues or are frustrated and may attribute their experience a to lack of technology savvy that’s inherent to avg age of an individual who needs a hearing aid. I don’t consider myself that young anymore however, this app is not very intuitive. The features they offer can mostly be done without the app through the iPhone settings. Disappointed because one pays for a product that is heavily engineered and very expensive, yet that same development team clearly did not put equal effort into building that an application that is designed to coexist with the hearing aid. I’m disappointed at the development team as well as the company as a whole because this application does not bring any value or ease of access to the hearing aids they market. Do better.
The new app takes too long to connect. The old app was very quick and responsive when making changes to suit the environment you found yourself in. Volume control, wind noise and mute features were handy. Now it’s a pain to use the app. The worst part is that you can now longer access the old, more convenient app.
Great hearing aids. Awful app. It just continues to read reconnecting but it never does. Earlier today it only connected to the right one not the left. Now neither one connects. What is wrong with this app?
The app has never given me a problem. Connection or anything. All good. Rarely go to the app anyway except to maybe hit the speech enhance feature which works great!
It was only one day after receiving a repaired hearing aid, that I required assistance pairing my hearing aids to my telephone calls. It appeared I could receive iPhone music through my hearing aids, but not telephone calls. I emailed customer service, and before the end of the day, received various instructions trying to make the link. After trying all the variations, I still felt that I needed more help, and sent a request for more help. Approximately two hours later, I received more updates of additional help instructions. I found customer service to be more than helpful and in a timely fashion. We all look for an immediate fix, but I felt their instructions were fairly timely, informative, and helpful. I have all the same complaints as ‘winter woolies’. This app is the worst! It constantly loses connection with the hearing aids and often I have to delete the app and reload it to get the hearing aids to connect. I bought Oticon’s top of the line hearing aids thinking more expensive meant less problems; boy was I wrong. My hearing aids are only two years old but I’m thinking of looking for a different brand. These are too problematic, I would not recommend the app or the hearing aids.
