Not an audio recorder

Falsely pop up as an audio recorder. Waste of time. Poor performance in Transcription - many errors.

Pricey but Valuable

For someone on the lower end of the pay spectrum, I struggle to pay for monthly use. That said, I find the app exceptional. It really helps me stay present during meetings, and interactions, confident that notes are being taken in the background. It copes relatively well with speakers with accents and produces brilliant summaries.

Not useable for meetings

I bought this app to transcribe and generate minutes for our meetings which are usually with upto 10 people in a room. Using it on the latest iphone 16 pro max, i was very disappointed that the app doesn’t catch everything that is said, sometimes transcribes words wrong, and does not generate useful minutes. And they have a no refund policy, so £80 wasted. Avoid.

Can’t export summary

Even with the subscription, which is £17 a month you can’t export the summary. Every user will look to export the summary. You can export the transcript. Great, but why not the summary. Does the dev team rally think that a use would like to export the transcript but not the summary? This is just a transcription app then - I have to export the transcript and plug that into ChatGPT to get the summary that I can use in emails or to edit

Doesn’t work with mobile calls

This can’t be activated to capture normal phone calls, despite what their online instructions say. I get a message saying "iOS doesn't allow recording while a phone call is in progress". I use Hangouts, Zoom and Teams on my MacBook - so I wanted this app was for the sole purpose of phone calls. Shame.

App is fine, support is terrible

I’ve been using Otter for a while now and it’s ok for transcription. However, I’ve been waiting almost 3 weeks for any response from their support, which is neatly fortified behind online forms. Buyers beware.

It’s ok but not great

Struggles with detecting language used so if someone not speaking clearly or quickly. Also struggles to differentiate between different speakers. I’m told Heidi is better.

Absolute garbage

Too complicated for a simple task doesn’t function and really irritating

Great product the best one I’ve tried

As in the title this is a great product so easy to use the space of a few minutes you can have 2000 words subscribed and emailed from your phone to your laptop brilliant highly recommended. Never had a problem with it. I would recommend
