New update doesn’t calculate my streak correctly and I get notified twice now instead. It signs me out and makes my streak go back to 1 every time now

New update doesn’t calculate my streak correctly and I get notified twice now instead.

I have been using the app for awhile and was loving it.Then one day the app immediately shut down when I went to read my daily devotional.So I deleted the app to download again.Now I receive the daily reminder but I can’t get the app! I have to click on the reminder or go to the App Store to download it but it doesn’t download just the option to open the app.Very weird!

I have benefited from Our Daily Bread for many years, formerly in the print version. The App version is extremely convenient but I do dislike the constant reminders about one's "streak." In fact, it is not even accurate as yesterday I opened the App to read the devotional, then closed it and reopened it a few minutes later, only to be informed that I had "missed a few days"! Very irritating but not irritating enough to stop me using it.

My husband and I have read ODB for more years then we care to remember. We love it as our “thought for the day” After a bout of covid we were really pleased to get the App and just listen. When we recently discovered the new App gave you the language choice, we opted for UK English…. after all It’s our language It’s AWFUL !! lovely of you to want to include all local accents but hey, you can’t understand what they’re saying, the diction is terrible. Please, please give us decent English that we can all understand. I actually preferred our American cousins to this! Unfortunately the App can’t manage when you want to revert… so now we’re back to reading. Please sort this problem asap. I can’t be the only frustrated listener

Part of a devotional time is a freedom from distraction, and the app does this well. But the partnership with Biblegateway for Bible passages is becoming increasingly intrusive as BG gradually increases its commerce. There are frequently cookie requests, there are data consent requests and there are some ads. This gets annoying. Perhaps a new partnership needed?

After last update app keeps crashing!!! So disappointing as I use this app first thing in the morning. Helps me start my day off right. Will not be doing any more updates once this app is working again!!

22/04 UPDATE: Daily devotionals are now in sync 😁 Link to Bible scriptures also now working 😁 Daily devotionals do not match with audio, out of sync: the audio for the day is from the day before! Link to the Bible readings doesn’t work!! Lost all my bookmarks previously saved!!! Do not update!!!!

I love Our Daily Bread App and it’s daily teachings however after the last update a month ago, the app does not open. I have missed a number of days readings as a result of this. Please can the technical team look into this? Not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same issues.

Like many others I love this app and have used it for years but now I can’t open. It flashes open for less than a second then disappears. I really miss it. Please, please fix this.
