Talking about money isn't one of them. Not because we fight about it — though that happened — but because we never had a shared picture of where things stood. We tried every budgeting app we could find. They were all built for one person with a "share with partner" button that didn't actually help us manage money together. So I built something. OurPlan is what I wish had existed. One partner sets up the plan. The other joins through an invite link and sees the exact same thing — same buckets, same numbers, same picture. Your income splits into four categories: Essentials, Growth, Reserves, and Flex. Both of you see where it went. Once a week, a guided 10-minute check-in walks you through how things went. We do ours Sunday evenings. Somewhere around week three it stopped feeling like homework. Every payday, a simple checklist helps you fund your buckets and confirm everything is covered. A few minutes and you're done. Pro unlocks insights, a What-If simulator, Partner Balance, Merchant Memory, recurring bills, a home screen widget, and CSV export. Core features are free forever. Pro is $49.99/year — about $2 per person per month. 14-day free trial included. We built this because we needed it. Hope it helps you too.
