Outcast for Watch

This is the only watch podcast app so far that I feel in control of the podcasts on my Apple Watch. Every other app is hit or miss. Just search the podcast and watch it download. At last!

Avoid Avoid Avoid!! Download take an age, requires you to leave app open while downloading. Then when listening, you have to have the app open all the time. Won’t run in background. Anytime your drop your wrist and the screen sleeps, the podcasts stop! Utterly useless! Do not download.

It’s great to have my podcasts available on my watch rather than having to rely on my iPhone; I don’t take my phone when I go for a run. The sync via WiFi is fiddly, but that’s Apple’s restriction, not the developer’s fault. It’s annoying that it doesn’t sync with the watch asleep. One feature I’d love to see developed is the ability to search/add podcasts using the phone version of the app, rather than using the fiddly watch display. Importing the feed address is great but... you have to know the feed address. 🙄

I really, really, want to love this app. it fill a need. But, as others have mentioned, it RANDOMLY SKIPS BACK (like 20 minutes) without warning. So, all of a sudden you realize you’ve heard this before, and YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHERE YOU WERE. Just too annoying Shame

This app is amazing for listening to any kind of podcast and is made for right on your wrist! This is pretty much just a podcasting app made exclusively for your Apple Watch, but I was looking for Apple-Watch-Made apps, and this, this is perfect!

The best for your Apple Watch out there!!!! Smooth as a mountain lake at 6am 🕕, perfect 👍 controls, phenomenal playback & NO, I’m not an employee or shareholder of any kind! Just a believer 🙏🏼!
