Doesn’t have as many features as vlc or other players. Would be a lot better if the mpv config could be customized. Also, I’m pretty sure mpv’s license requires you to release the source code of the program, but I may be wrong on this.

Gestures are great. Everything I was looking for
I’ve used this app to view mkv files, and it works perfectly with full quality. I love the UI, and it’s easy to view any file from the files app. The only thing I hate is that whenever I enable the local wifi server to transfer files to my computer, 90% of the files give me an error to transfer. It’s irritating and I have to use google drive instead of transferring it directly. Everything else works fine, but that’s my only pet peeve.
Hi!. You are awesome! Can you please add the ability to close the video by swiping down? Also, can you add the ability to specify a universal playback speed for all videos from the settings? For example, when I choose the speed to be 1.5, it does not change even if I close the application? Also, can you add options at the bottom of the player to play the next or previous video, just like YouTube player? You are amazing. Thank you. I’m waiting for you, pal.
This is a simple Video player / Library that gets things right such as import/folder organization, play on external display. BUT it pick a random frame for video thumbnail instead of poster art/icon as in Files app. All my ripped movies have nice poster art that shows up in Files. Why not here? … Also could not find a way to copy files into the app in Files (no folder). Hope dev fixes these issues then I would GLADLY pay for it!
this is the only video app that actually lowers the quality of your videos to try and force you to pay to get basic features which is never gonna work because people pay for advnaced features not the basic ones you get free with any other player like vlc
Finally planted a brief, beautiful player, unlike other players, ugly interface, a bunch of useless web disk links. Just the right features, the perfect player.
No chrome cast support. Big loss for me
Add online support and cloud streaming all in 4k hdr dv etc i will give 5 star
