## Outtakes. Description
Forget star ratings. Outtakes is a completely new way to rank the movies you love — one head-to-head battle at a time.
HOW IT WORKS
Log a movie you've watched, and Outtakes pairs it against another film in your collection. All you do is answer one simple question: "Which was better?" That's it. No agonizing over whether something is a 3.5 or a 4. No score inflation. Just your honest gut reaction.
Behind the scenes, an adaptive ranking algorithm turns your choices into a personalized movie ranking that actually means something. The more battles you complete, the sharper your rankings become.
YOUR RANKINGS, YOUR TASTE
Outtakes builds a living, breathing ranking of every movie you've seen — powered entirely by your real preferences, not arbitrary numbers. See exactly where each film lands relative to everything else you've watched. Your #1 is your #1 because you chose it, over and over.
GO SOCIAL
Movies are better with friends. With Outtakes, you can:
• Compare your rankings side-by-side with friends using Parallel Cut
• See where your taste aligns — and where it wildly diverges
• Discover what percentage of users ranked a film higher or lower than you
• Settle debates with data, not shouting
THE DAILY DOZEN
Every day, Outtakes serves up a fresh set of battles the whole community votes on. See how your picks compare with everyone else and discover films you might have overlooked.
BUILT FOR FILM LOVERS
Outtakes is designed with a cinematic experience in mind — a dark, immersive interface that puts the movies front and center. Powered by TMDB's extensive movie database, you'll find virtually any film you're looking for.
Whether you're a casual moviegoer or a die-hard cinephile, Outtakes turns your watching history into something meaningful. No more "I'd give it a 7 out of 10." Just: which was better?
Download Outtakes and start ranking.

## Outtakes. Reviews in United States

### ***** "Very interesting idea !"
This app is very interesting. It is helpful to find new movies that I have never heard of before , or have been meaning to re watch !
-- Dill0wn3r, 2026-03-11

### ***** "Im Addicted"
Wow! Downloaded the app thinking I’d just mess around for a few minutes and lost half an hour. The movie battles are strangely addictive and I found myself with a ton of new movies I needed to watch so I could rank my movies right! I’m honestly having more fun on this than I ever did on Letterboxd.
-- Matheusmc03, 2026-03-09

### ***** "What a cool app"
Love this app, I can actually compare movies instead of giving them a subjective rating. Find a movie button is awesome and battles provide daily entertainment
