No way to zoom in to see more. I’m a big fan of the tabletop game, and wish the mobile game was as accessible. -- dmarsee, 2024-09-18 ### ***** "Overboss rules!" This game is full of retro charm and devious decision-making. You play an evil Overboss building your overworld map, which looks like something out of a Super NES or Game Boy Advance game. The actual tile-laying gameplay has elements of Calico or Cascadia, but elements like Boss powers and Command cards make it feel unique. The simple choices every turn -- where do I place my tile and token? -- get surprisingly layered. I didn't have any trouble keeping track of the visuals on my iPhone 14, but it looks especially nice on iPad. You can tap any of the tiles, or the icons representing them, to get a zoomed-in view of any relevant gameplay info. Overall, a great game that makes me wish the original Boss Monster could come to iOS, too! -- Johnny0Neal, 2024-09-16 ### **--- "Too small to see what you’re doing" The tiles and the monsters especially are far too small to see. It’s a shame because this is a great board game.
