Gone through the catastrophic loss of a carefully curated podcast collection twice (Podcast app and an old iOS failure), but Overcast didn't failed me when I needed it the most, everything was still perfectly in place. So glad I made the switch to this app.

Overcast used to be my favorite podcast app. I even subscribed to their yearly membership (still a subscriber while I’m writing this). 
But I realized some of podcast channel not updated and there’s no function to mark episode as ‘played’.
Hope the developer can look into this because I totally love this app but since having issue with one of the channel I already start using PocketCast which for me equivalent to overcast with more added features (mark played is one of it).

Love the app, now use it on my Apple Watch, too and love how I can send episodes to the watch so I can go running and listen without taking my phone. 

I also love the how it removes silences (if you want it to) and you can play at faster speeds. I tend to listen for a few seconds at x2 speed then slow it back to x1.5 or x1.25 which the. Sound totally normal. More podcasts, less time!

I am very scare to upgrade the app because I know if I upgrade it maybe my watch app won’t support anymore. I’m very disappointed to upgrade this app, please if overcast can bring back to support watchOS 4 again. I love this app but it seems to have very high cpu usage and background activity on my iPhone 7. My phone has been stuttering and lagging for the past few months. After deleting apps one by one, it seems the problems were caused by this app.
