A beautiful idea - it really does move you!
I first used the Overhear app on a walking tour in Birmingham. It added so many rich layers to the experience of discovering a place, weaving many voices, perspectives and experiences into the stories that our guide was sharing. To be able to listen to especially commissioned poems performed by the local poets themselves is an absolute privilege. It’s the first time a walking tour has moved me me to tears! And I love the invitation to head off and explore more places to find and enjoy more poems. Accessible cultural nourishment on our streets and in unusual spaces - fantastic!
