## Overstory Description
A daily conversation about gratitude.

Overstory is a guided gratitude journal that helps you slow down and reflect on the people, moments, and small details that made your day meaningful.

No blank pages. No bullet-point lists. Just a gentle conversation that asks about your day, helps you think of specifics, and digs into why something mattered. If you draw a blank, it'll help.

Grounded in research. Overstory is built on peer-reviewed gratitude science — emphasizing specific, meaningful reflection over generic list-making. The kind of gratitude practice that studies show actually works.

How it works:
- Open the app and start a conversation about your day
- Reflect on 1-3 things you're grateful for
- Get thoughtful follow-up questions that help you go deeper
- Build a personal collection of gratitudes over time

Features:
- Guided daily journaling through natural conversation
- Calendar view to browse past reflections
- Attach photos to capture moments visually
- Daily reminders to keep your gratitude practice consistent
- Shuffle through past gratitudes to rediscover meaningful moments
- Sign in with Apple for quick, private setup
- Completely free to use

A reflection tool, not a therapist. Overstory is a journaling app, not a substitute for professional advice.

Start noticing what's good. One conversation at a time.

## Overstory Reviews in United States

### ***** "Mark"
I love that it is so simple to use.
-- mschwa1000, 2021-08-20

### **--- "this app is exactly what i want, except the glitches"
a few minor problem here at there that make this app quite troublesome, other than that this app would have been absolutely perfect for me and i would have used it every single day but these tiny glitches make it a pain to use.
-- nami xavier, 2021-02-02

### ***** "Simplicity"
Love the simplicity. Looking forward to seeing how it’s organized as I add more and more!
-- HauteMama, 2021-01-09

### ****- "Simple and useful!"
I like the simplicity of it and that all you have to do is open the app and write what your grateful for. I do wish they had more color options for the background.
-- Drygnjyswrugjk, 2021-01-04

### ***** "Just works exactly as expected!"
I don’t use the sharing feature but either way it’s really good and effective. Having notifications is really useful.
-- 210 two ten, 2020-12-28

### ***** "Perfect App"
Perfect app—not bloated, totally beautiful, easy to use. Literally cant ask for more. This is the app I’ve always wanted.
-- Rad.KKB, 2020-09-19

### *---- "Sold my email address"
Worked great for about a month. Then it logged me out and said it didn’t recognize my email address. All my entries were lost. I started a new account and they sold my email address because I immediately started getting spammed after doing so. I do not recommend.
-- nmssrw, 2020-07-01

### *---- "Lost everything after logging out"
Like others I lost a month of gratitude when it automatically signed me out.

It’s a fine app if you don’t wish to save your gratitudes for long.
-- lostGratitudes, 2020-05-31

### ***** "Best gratitude journaling App"
