These are films that make you think about and experience other cultures and subcultures. I am still subscribed to several other streaming services but I am truly wondering why… -- Bx2Bklyn, 2024-10-24 ### ***** "Intelligent Films for Intelligent Cinema Fans" Ovid is wisely curated with hundreds of great independent films that tell crucial and engaging stories. The organization of the app makes it easy to discover new films that are of interest. They group films by subject, by country, by creative collections. I also appreciate that they are not feeding you films based on algorithms or sponsors but allow you to use the app like a sentient being who doesn’t need to be manipulated. Bravo Ovid! Just yesterday I watched “Sapiens” an incredible documentary about the origins of art and cave paintings. These are the types of films that make the very reasonably priced service well worth the annual fee. -- noosphere2, 2024-07-29 ### ***** "Expand your horizons" Ovid has so many titles that are worth watching. While it carries film classics that you may find elsewhere the documentaries are where you’ll find fascinating and challenging subjects from around the world. Ovid also features plenty of films and series that most streaming services are likely too timid to show. Well worth the price of admission. -- AHD1959, 2023-07-20 ### ***** "Only need one streaming service." Enjoy Ovid immensely. Canceled all my other overpriced streaming services. Ovid gives me better quality screenings at a better one time cost. -- awning jie, 2023-04-13 ### ****- "Please keep working in this service" I have high hopes for this service but it’s awkward to navigate. Why can’t we watch trailers for anything? You’re off to a good start. Please keep working on it. -- sunnydayblue, 2022-10-15 ### ***** "Excellent Streaming Service" My family recently replaced Netflix with this service and I like it much much better. The contents much more interesting and I find the app to be really easy to use. I would definitely recommend it. -- 3arsfromdownunder, 2022-08-22 ### ***** "Curate Your Own Content" I cannot say enough good things about OVID. It means so much to be able to curate one’s own selection of content, and OVID makes it super easy and cost effective. I liked OVID so much after my first week I went ahead and subscribed for a whole year. -- Globaldenny, 2022-04-14 ### ***** "Great selection" Shockingly worthwhile. Keeping this -- pcdevitt, 2022-02-02 ### ***** "Great content" This service has great content all in one place. If you are interested in independent film, documentaries, animation, experimental film, this is the place for you. -- jid555, 2021-12-30 ### ***** "Superb Streaming Service!" I saw an advertisement for Ovid in Mother Jones magazine and thought I’d give it a try. This is all the great movies you won’t find on the other streaming platforms: arthouse film, indie favorites, plus loads of great documentaries. At $6.99 a month it’s a real bargain! -- openacandan, 2021-12-23 [View all OVID reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## OVID In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | OVID Subscription | $69.99 | ## OVID Discovered Keywords - ovid ## Apps Similar to OVID - [IndieFlix](https://apptail.io/app/indieflix-PEf/united-states) - [Film Movement Plus](https://apptail.io/app/film-movement-plus-sHec/united-states) - [ARROW Player](https://apptail.io/app/arrow-player-Rdfc/united-states) - [The Midnite Picture Show](https://apptail.io/app/the-midnite-picture-show-Tdfc/united-states) - [TheArchiveTV](https://apptail.io/app/thearchivetv-Ydfc/united-states) - [BFI Player Classics](https://apptail.io/app/bfi-player-classics-aefc/united-states) - [Fandor](https://apptail.io/app/fandor-cefc/united-states) - [Troma NOW!](https://apptail.io/app/troma-now-Asfc/united-states) - [Cult Movie Network](https://apptail.io/app/cult-movie-network-Csfc/united-states) - [Metrograph](https://apptail.io/app/metrograph-JnLp/united-states) ## OVID Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/ovid-Qdfc/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/ovid-Qdfc/canada) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
