Seller removed paid pro features and put them behind subscription

I purchased this app when it was called FE File Explorer Pro for 4.99. It seems that the developer renamed the app and put all the pro features behind a subscription. And then to appear like nothing happened, launched another app called FE File Explorer Pro and charges 4.99. I would suggest that you stay away from this shady developer.

Excellent app, just works exactly as expected

Great app!

Using the app to stream videos with an Apple TV, 2019 iMac and iPhone 11. Fantastic! Easy! Versatile! Seamless! Oh yeah: Perfect!

Uploading Files, GREAT! Viewing not so much

If your looking for an app to be able to view SMB files or offload files onto a NAS or something like that. It’s great in that sense! Im able to offload pictures and videos from my phone at a slow speed but it gets the job done. I can add folders, drag and drop files into folders and etc. The problem is video playback. If a file is VERY compressed it will play the video no problem. But if the video is long and not very compressed or is 4K 60 (even 1080p 60) this app just struggles to play it. Before anyone says it’s my server or my network it’s not. This app maxes out at 1Mbps when receiving information. I watched the server statistics when using this app, to troubleshoot and it was only sending out again, 1Mbps. Meaning this app is limiting its intake. When watching those same videos on a computer, they run flawlessly. It’s only this app I have the issue on. However, photo viewing and music playing with this app does work great, no problems at all. But that would be expected as there smaller file sizes. Overall this is a very good app and does what I mainly need it to do. Offload videos and photos from my phone. I just wish the playback for videos was better. Again that totally seems fixable on the developers end.

It’s a must for your files

Knowing where your files are but not always able to access them is a real pain. But using Owl files and can find all of them in one place. Especially those not on any cloud service and are locked on the home system

Features are wrong, free version doesn’t support smb

Good app to see files iOS hides

The app really helps managing files in iOS, but it lacks some pretty basic functionality like renaming files.

Not worth the money

I haven’t been able to use this app since I bought and not only did they charg my account twice they charged my cc as well s they are a scam company and a rip off they have also been sell peoples cc information and have been named in 3 data breach’s
