The only good thing about this new food delivery app is the hotel/restaurant commission is not there which reduces the overall bill. Other than this everything else is just pathetic! No “cash on delivery” mode as payment, help section is sketchy, no proper guidelines for delivery instructions to update, the GUI itself is confusing and to top it- absolutely PATHETIC customer service! Was happy initially that there’s some healthy competition to Swiggy and Zomato but those are 10x better in all terms though service remains subjective. There’s a lot of catching to do for Ownly else this will wind up as quickly as anyone can imagine.

They will take your order without checking with the restaurant if the item is available or not. The delivery guy will go offline randomly, the restaurant will say google ownly support number. Ownly support is top notch, 2 automated replies in 2 hours.

There’s no way you can contact support, first off they take so long to actually reply from the initial message or complaint sent in chat, then it’s not a human who comes to help, it’s a bot with its own name. Stupid application, DO NOT INSTALL IT since if any problem occurs, Yall are on your own.

Hello, I placed an order today morning and received completely damaged food. The burger was soggy, fries were cold, and the Pepsi had spilled, ruining the entire order. This is unacceptable as the food was not consumable.
I tried contacting support but did not receive a proper response. I request a full refund or replacement immediately. I have photos as proof and can share them if needed.

I ordered from “aarambam-flavours of south “ through ownly for dinner around 10:00.And at 10:30 which is almost my delivery time am getting call from ownly stating that the delivery person was unable to “FIND” the restaurant.Seriosuly,how can u say that u are unable to find the restaurant? So Ownly doesn’t verify and list the hotel just like that in their app? And just giving my refund at 10:40pm doesn’t give any solution without any compensation or escalating the issue.
