The OEVT 2 offers a quick and easy way to expand your vocabulary – even when your English teacher is not there. - Expand your vocabulary with daily practice: improve pronunciation by listening to audio clips; learn the meaning using pictures, translations and definitions; write words to practise your spelling - Challenge other learners to a LiveMatch and compete in the monthly challenge - Track your progress and see how you’re improving: set yourself a goal and see how well you’re performing by collecting points - Choose the words you want to learn: speed up your learning by adding words to your own personal dictionary The Oxford English Vocab Trainer 2 uses a learning technique called ‘spaced repetition’. This means you’ll practise each word at the point when you are most likely to forget it, helping you to remember more vocabulary. The app and dictionary contains translations for English, Arabic, Catalan, Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), Czech, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Spanish (Latin America), Spanish (Mexico), Spanish (Spain), Swahili, Thai and Turkish. The app has been developed by Oxford University Press in collaboration with VE Vision Education GmbH. ## Oxford English Vocab Trainer 2 Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource114/v4/a3/0c/1b/a30c1b63-0cd4-77b1-43f9-818e91cf00bb/1b6cc64d-ac3a-4640-8c06-60e75c72550b_1.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource124/v4/28/d8/c6/28d8c656-b4c3-75ff-57ad-bfc2f95a8a46/b55d5a41-a0bc-4f5d-8124-280cc3fba79c_2.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource124/v4/63/e4/eb/63e4ebfe-04ca-a3d7-0116-1d11b42ff34f/b68470eb-2066-495e-ba24-034332c2607d_3.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource114/v4/0d/db/ba/0ddbba41-9de1-c28f-168b-71d4c9298fb6/0e48f731-e19c-46c3-a9c7-6538ab4d9f70_4.jpg/1242x2688.png) ## Oxford English Vocab Trainer 2 Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 122 (85%) - 4 stars: 9 (6%) - 3 stars: 2 (1%) - 2 stars: 3 (2%) - 1 stars: 8 (6%) ## Oxford English Vocab Trainer 2 Reviews in United States ### ***-- "I lost my everything saved in vovan trainer 1" this map released the second version and deleted all informations and words saved in vocab trainer 1 and there's no way offered to help move them to vocab trainer 2, which is insane. the team creating this app at the very beginning didn't even take "taking users' info and efforts" seriously -- chaunceyYou！, 2025-01-22 ### ***** "Increíble" Me encanta puedo repetir lo que no recuerdo -- Todo lo puedo en Cristi, 2023-05-11 ### *---- "Frustrating garbage" I hate this app. First, English is not available as an interface language. That means my ESL students whose native language is not in the set of provided interface languages (for example, Farsi) can’t use the OVT app at all and I as a basically monolingual ESL teacher can’t demonstrate the app to my students. It is ridiculous not to provide English as an interface option in an English learning tool. Second, this app is useless for adding additional words (not in the built-in course) unless you Jane an English dictionary in which to find them. But an English dictionary is not loaded by default. When I try to add one by clicking on “add languages” in dictionary mode (using the French interface because there’s no English interface), it just prompts: Enregistrer (Register). Then when I click the Register link, nothing happens. I have wasted many hours trying to solve this problem. I’ve emailed support and gotten a long-winded boilerplate reply showing elaborate steps that that don’t work because I CANT GET THE ENGLISH DICTIONARY TO LOAD. -- Medium splash, 2023-04-25 ### *---- "Jajaja" It’s take for ever to login -- Jperaza puc, 2021-09-20 ### *---- "I can not register" I simply can't create a new account in this new version -- mariammaks, 2021-09-18 ### *---- "Total Failure" I used the Vocab trainer 1. I had my personal dictionary filled with hundreds of words. It served perfectly my needs. Then I was forced to upgrade to Vocab trainer 2. Now in this new version I cant find a way to import my personal dictionary from the previous version. Years of work just relinquished. Two inquires to the developer remain unanswered for weeks now. Extremely disappointing. -- Prussian Mark, 2021-08-19 [View all Oxford English Vocab Trainer 2 reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Oxford English Vocab Trainer 2 Discovered Keywords -
