I’ve had all sorts of nav apps. This nails everything I want and more. I can’t say enough about the NZ support. Very helpful and always knows what is neede.

Great EFB
Easy to use with better features as updates are released. I use this app for VFR and IFR. Enhances situational awareness. Great not to have to do paper amendments to manuals.
NZ version Fantasic but metflight weather is unsafe.
My only gripe, and its for the NZ version, is you cannot store the weather within the app. I only have access while online, if your halfway somewhere and you want to check what the weather again, you cannot. Would be good to be able to save it as a pdf at least.

Ozrunways
I have been using AvPlan for a long time and recently tried Ozrunways. It is much more user friendly and logical to me the way it works.
Outstandingly useful
This app or something similar is wonderful as a back up to manual means for the student pilot. Do your planning with pencil notebook and chart then check with OzRunway. Measure twice. Fly once.

Great software love the geotagging really helpful and connecting it with x plane is amazing
Real slick program
Does a great job now in NZ. Nice feel to the app and the way airspaces and terrain are presented. Weather and NOTAMS in NZ, are still lacking, but I hope they can figure out an interface to metflight and IFIS, which is apparently in the works. Nice how you can print out planned flight logs and relevant plates. The full AIP Volumes are available inside the app too. Works well all round, and they are very receptive to feedback.
Always helps us on our travels
We love the app, have been flying a girocopter for yrs using it, & always have it on when travelling around our beautiful Aussie land.
This Seems to be the Australia and NZ industry standard.
But they are adding features all the time. Also, they seem to fix problems too. (They’re not like companies that keep adding features and not bothering to fix bugs.) Amazingly good.
