I remember it was a bright sun shining day on April 14, 2025 I was going through my email and saw this welcome letter from Nicole Leggett. “Welcome! Your physician has referred you to Prescribe FIT for virtual health coaching and lifestyle management. To get started, follow the steps below. If you have any issues downloading the app or getting your account set up, one of the Patent Referral Specialists will walk you through those steps during your scheduled Welcome Call. “ It took time for me to catch up. I down loaded the app then with help I was able to sync the weight scale to my iPhone. So far so good. I explored the FIT app and familiarized myself with all I could. I knew I was a big woman. I was excited to start my challenge to learn about nutrition, exercise, and making good food choices. On April 21,2025 I received an email formally letting me know Sofia will be my Health Coach Care Coordinator. Sofia has been teaching me about Health, being the best Coach ever and I will say a very Caring Coordinator. Each week we work on whatever I seem to need most. I need to work most on is daily weights. The day goes by and boom I forgot to stand on the scale. I took notes. I made a shopping list every week with delicious healthy foods instead of cookies, cakes and ice cream. I watched the videos sent to me via the FIT program. I was absorbing information like a sponge. Eager to learn. It helped that I was self motivated and the wonderful results urged me on. The praises that Sofia gave me helped as well. I did everything I could do to loose weight. Often we adjusted my activities due to health issues. I was losing an averaging of about 6 pounds per month. My pain level dropped from 10 to a normal 4 due to my arthritis. I can do more for myself. The goals my coach and I set are reachable. Remember Baby steps. I’m doing more around the house. I fixed our toilet from constantly running water. I started to do laundry once more. This past weekend I painted the front door and frame. The day the DR.Bohan ordered Prescribed FIT for me I feel like the day I went into remission. Not because of Cancer this time but a third chance at living a healthier life. Sofia has challenged me to do more. I accepted the challenge. I weigh myself daily and add it to the app. I don’t need an app to help me track my weight. Entering what I ate was difficult because you couldn’t pull down a list of what you entered to find it.
