## Pacifica Radio Reviews in United States

### ***-- "No longer available"
Sadly, the app is no longer available. This was a great resource for news and community information for many smaller stations across the country
-- brandreth potter, 2025-05-01

### *---- "Does this still work?"
I used to love this app but it now says that it’s not functional anymore. Is that true?
-- Martha and Hugo the cat, 2023-01-28

### ***** "Can no longer use app"
What gives?
-- NormieZ, 2023-01-28

### ***-- "App stopped working"
App doesn’t seem to be supported anymore. Perhaps the developers let it go. It was pretty clunky to start with and had an older UI, but maybe Pacifica will start from scratch with something new. The music shows + talent on wpfw were unmatched tho. Hope to hear you guys again soon!
-- velert, 2023-01-28

### ***** "Has the app shut down?"
Has the app shut down permanently?
-- !Stunt!, 2023-01-27

### ***-- "Is App still supported?"
I have an iPhone 12 and have been using the App for years but recently I have been unable to. Is the App dead? What’s the alternative? I miss my public radio stations.
-- JJNYC_, 2023-01-19

### *---- "App No longer Available"
When you download the app it says it’s no longer available.
-- Mr. Sardonicus, 2023-01-17

### *---- "Absolutely useless for a blind person using voiceover"
Just because it is listener sponsored doesn’t give them the excuse not to make it accessible on the iPhone while using voiceover. It is 100% inaccessible for a blind person who might try to use it. They also seems to be no way to get a response. this is why Pacifica is always whining to listen to donations. When I lived in New York, and you could listen to WBAI, the one most common phrase that I heard was to 122793 400 ad nausea him!
-- Mr. Al!, 2023-01-15

### *---- "Unresponsive, full of glitches"
I’ve labored my way through using this App now for over a year and it is incredibly frustrating: Suddenly the sound is interrupted, though I haven’t moved position nor has WiFi lapsed; then there is the lag in response when touching the arrow for “play” and/or the double bar for “stop”. This App hasn’t been updated in years and always getting age old texts on the main page is also pretty lame. All in all: you have me relying on the physical radio because this App doesn’t do the job.
-- Mariettahikes, 2022-12-08

### **--- "Near unusable while driving"
App stops audio whenever there’s a momentary loss of signal, such as changing from 5G to LTE. It requires multiple prompts to restart audio, sometimes requiring selecting a different station.
Volume is not equal across stations, with some very quiet and others very loud.
Switching stations when the audio is working is good, since pressing the skip button on the radio is easier than trying to select individual stations on the app.
