This app has increased our efficiency ten fold. We are required to log a specific set of packages on a daily basis. Before Package Zen we were required to log, then manually enter into an excel sheet every package that arrived daily and send off a monthly report. This included date, receiver, address of sender, tracking #, date, and carrier. Occasionally we would receive 20+ packages a day that would need to be tracked this way. Package Zen has turned this from a tedious task into a simple photo. Not only has this saved us time, but the ability to track packages after receiving has helped us out quite a few times. If you need to obtain signatures you can easily do that, if you need to add notes to your check out event, the App allows that. Outside of just the app of the phone if you do use the desktop version on a computer you receive so much more information you don’t see that App doing in the background. The desktop version will take your photos from the check in events, and collect all the data and gives you a view of your label, time of checked in, company or individual name, and tracking number. There is also an advance search feature that has come in hand more than once when a package I received goes “missing” not only am I able to confirm that I did receive that item but I can also pull up the details of when I dropped it off and will show name, location, time & date, additional notes (if added), & show’s signature as well. Overall this App has a lot to offer would definitely try the 30 day trial to get a feel for the program. As in take a picture and move on to the next thing without interruption. Everything else out there is kinda sorta maybe automated. The other 5 or so apps I've used let you scan a picture, but then you have to wait to see if the app grabbed the text right, and if the writing on the box isn't pristine you get to type it all manually. I might as well just type from the jump if I have to wait! I've never had to wait or manually type anything with packagezen. Also, the actual picture when something gets checked out has bailed me out so many times when someone forgets they picked something up.
