Paddle boat tracking application for paddle board, kayak, canoe and similar. It tracks path of a ride on a map, tracks maximum and average speed, paddling pace, pauses and weather. User may set the target on a map with long tap gesture and application will show path and distance to that target. Target can be easily removed if no longer needed. Previous rides are stored in a History and can be viewed/examined later. Path of previous ride on a map is shown with colors, representing speed variance. Green indicates faster speed and red indicates slower. Application can also read your heart rate from a standard bluetooth sensor, for example Wahoo or Garmin. Rides in history can be exported into infographics image for sharing via standard iOS sharing means. It also can be exported into TCX file for import into other systems as well as directly integrating with Strava. When tracking your ride, application can stay in foreground, or you can put device into lock mode - app will still be tracking the ride until you press Finish. Store data in iCloud. Paddle Paddle application integrates with HealthKit to obtain your weight and age (if available) for calories calculation, as well as reports a workout activity (Paddle sports type) and effort when you press Finish button.
I paddle multiple times a week and love to use this app to record my routes, time myself and even transfer route data to Relive if I am taking photos. Only issue I have is the interface with my Apple Watch - it uses a lot of battery and I cannot start, pause or turn off the Paddle Paddle recording on it (can only do on the phone app).
Can’t log paddling session from Apple Watch
So I downloaded this app specifically so I could log my paddling sessions by pressing a button on my watch—as I do on every other fitness tracker I use. I have NEVER been able to do so. My phone is usually in a waterproof dry bag and not easily accessible when I’m kayaking. My Apple Watch Ultra Paddle Paddle app shows access to two screens: one with time and km (I specified I want miles in iPhone settings). The next screen shows —speed km/hr, —average km/hr and —❤️ rate with no data being collected in any of these categories. So I have to scroll away to collect data in my Apple workouts app. This is useless! I guess I would have to upgrade to pro to get any useful data. But I question whether even that would let me start on my watch.

I just want to say I LOVE this ap! It is really helpful to keep track of my Paddleboarding! It also has a place I can put notes on what I did!!
Intracoastal waterway
This app is an absolute necessity when kayaking the Atlantic Coast intracoastal waterway. You must be aware of the tide (time & height) and wind speed to avoid being caught in a bad situation. This app helps me navigate through the marsh grasses and find the creeks. I love it!
