Support, after 5 days suggested to use web site. Really? -- mom_of_3_kids, 2024-12-28 ### *---- "Not useful - especially for US divers" Cannot log dives in imperial units which is a PITA for US divers. Location entry requires a search and select instead of free text. Which means you can’t enter a dive unless the app actually already has it. How stupid is that! -- tyuyfdfbnj, 2024-12-21 ### **--- "Leaves a lot to be desired" The app is just OK, at best. Data entry is somewhat tedious. Entering a number, such as a temperature or tank pressure, in full digits, gets modified slightly. For example, enter 80 degrees for a temperature and the app changes it to 79.99. Why? There are other quirks. For example, when entering visibility you can only put down one number. But if, for example, it changes significantly depending on where or when you are in a dive, you can’t enter something like 20-40. The amount of data, and the types of data, are limited too. Othe log books, paper or app- or web-based, let you enter things like critters you saw, but with this app you have to add that and other info into a single dialog/category. Another annoyance is that the data I enter (date, time, location, depths, and much more) has to be copied from data I already have on my devices, downloaded directly fro my dive computer, and the app for that shows far more pertinent information than I can put (I should say RETYPE) into the PADI app. What really irks me is that PADI seems not to provide any way to enter, edit, and keep your log if you want to do that on a Mac or PC, and have the log sync between devices (e.g., the computer, on the web, and on a phone or tablet). Even if that feature were only available to PADI club members (which I pay for) or simply charged a nominal fee for folks who aren’t PADI club members, it would be OK in my opinion. PADI seems to have no problem putting for-pay courses/e-learning on line, sending out ads, and the like, so why can’t they muster the IT support to put a log book on line? I just don’t find the app to be user-friendly, and don’t really enjoy using it. The only reason I use it is because some dive shops only want to see the PADI log, even though I have another, far better, phone/tablet app. -- Mshlafer, 2024-12-12 ### *---- "Useless app" This app is useless unless you're willing to pay extra money to see your certification number (which you already paid for through training). Dive log won't save and is worthless. You can't see your past trainings. Pretty disappointed in PADI for this. All this should be working and at no extra cost. Now they are advertising a premium package at $50 annually. Yeah right lol -- jsnehhrbrj, 2024-11-26 ### ***-- "PADI apps" Way too many PADI apps. One app keeps sending to another app. Should be able to have one app handle all my records and opportunities. -- the Boester, 2024-11-14 ### **--- "Canned Response to all bad reviews and does not work" I started reading the responses to the negative reviews and realized it was a canned response. That should be a clue to the level of customer service to expect. Some of the buttons don’t work- Contact Support being one. Dive log seems ok. -- DRDwight123, 2024-10-26 ### *---- "Can’t save training logs" The training logs can’t be saved despite having filled out all required fields. -- Bto84, 2024-10-02 ### ****- "Great but would be amazing with some modifications" App functions very well and has lots of useful features. Would be even more helpful if the cards and the dives can be logged even when offline (dives logged can be uploaded after). It should also allow dives logged to be downloaded in multiple formats like Excel, Word, etc. -- jkiylpmn, 2024-09-24 ### *---- "Nightmare" This is the third time I have tried to get an ecard. I always end up quitting and deleting the app every time. Padi says I have no certifications even though I am certified through divemaster. The contact button does not work on the app and a drop down menu on their website doesn’t work. I guess they pretty much have a monopoly so we have little choice. Maybe the organization is great at other things but my experience with the app and website for my needs is a nightmare. -- stoak19, 2024-09-24 ### ***** "Great App" Didn’t realize I could log my dives here until today! Super easy to use! -- zippidydodaw, 2024-09-17 [View all PADI reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## PADI Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Free | Austria | Business | #70 | | Top Free | Switzerland | Business | #71 | | Top Free | Netherlands | Business | #98 | | Top Free | Sweden | Business | #100 | | Top Free | Germany | Business | #104 | | Top Free | Belgium | Business | #106 | | Top Free | Israel | Business | #110 | | Top Free | Denmark | Business | #110 | | Top Free | Hong Kong SAR China | Business | #111 | | Top Free | Spain | Business | #126 | | Top Free | Czechia | Business | #139 | | Top Free | Singapore | Business | #150 | | Top Free | Australia | Business | #161 | | Top Free | Taiwan | Business | #168 | | Top Free | New Zealand | Business | #176 | | Top Free | Poland | Business | #177 | | Top Free | United Kingdom | Business | #180 | | Top Free | Norway | Business | #181 | | Top Free | France | Business | #191 | | Top Free | Colombia | Business | #197 | | Top Free | Hungary | Business | #199 | | Top Free | Italy | Business | #201 | ## PADI Discovered Keywords -
