I went to a holiday party where the only parking option was to download this.  The signs posted as well as the app listed the first two hours as free.  I was charged for 24 hours despite being there 90 min, and Pango support refused to reverse the charge.  They said they had no way of knowing when I left the spot.  Seriously?  Isn’t this what the app is supposed to do??

Very annoying to setup. They ask for so much personal information. You can’t use Apple Pay. If you use PayPal you have to debit a minimum of $15 even if your parking fee is a few bucks. They claim you can “request your money back” but I’m sure they don’t make that easy. If you try and use a prepaid gift card or (so you don’t have to store your real credit card with them) make sure you have a high balance on it because it will try and pre-authorize the maximum fare for 24 hours even though you’ll only use a few dollars. Don’t forget to “end” your session when you leave or again they will charge you the maximum fare. This is the most sketchy parking app I’ve ever had to deal with. I hope I never have to use it again.
