Theme parks, zoos, campgrounds, ski resorts, sightseeing spots — the paper map you get at the entrance is beautifully illustrated and easy to read, but it never tells you the one thing you need: where you are right now. Paper Map GPS turns that paper map into a smartphone map with a moving current-location dot. ■ What makes it special - Maps that aren't on Google Maps — hand-drawn park guides and event maps — become fully working maps - Keep the charm of illustrated maps, with restrooms, shops, and attractions drawn large — and see your current location right on top - No internet needed to show your location. It works with GPS alone, even off the grid in the mountains - "Which way am I facing?" — solved, with a compass-linked heading indicator - Creating maps and showing your location is free (only sharing is paid) ■ Three simple steps 1. Take a photo of the paper map (importing photos and PDFs works too) 2. Tap the map where you're standing to register an alignment point (Move around and register 3 or more spread-out spots — the farther apart, the better the accuracy) 3. Just walk. Your "you are here" moves across the paper map ■ Great for places like - Theme parks, amusement parks, zoos - Campgrounds, hiking trails, ski resorts - Illustrated tourist maps, shrine and temple walking maps - Walking old towns with historical maps - University campuses, large event venues, festivals ■ With a Share Pass, see where family and friends are - Everyone's live location appears on the same paper map - Cut down on the "Where are you?" texts - Perfect for cheering at marathons — see exactly where your runner is on the course map - Share three kinds of markers with everyone: meeting point, favorite, and caution - Invite by showing a QR code or sending a link - Choose a pass that fits your outing: - 24-Hour Share Pass (one-time purchase, no auto-renewal) - Monthly Outing Pass (auto-renewing subscription) - First time? Try sharing free for 30 minutes - Only one person needs to buy a pass — invited family and friends join for free The Monthly Outing Pass is an auto-renewing subscription. It renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and is charged to your Apple ID. You can cancel anytime in your App Store account settings after purchase. Terms of Use: Privacy Policy: ■ Before you start - Location accuracy depends on your iPhone's GPS (roughly 5 m outdoors) and on how accurate the paper map itself is. Heavily stylized maps may show some offset. Not suited for indoor use or dense high-rise areas - Location and marker sharing requires signing in to iCloud, and works between iPhones - Using location in the background may increase battery usage For feedback or bug reports, use "Contact Us" in the app's Settings. We hope your family outings become even more fun. ## Paper Map GPS Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/e1/d2/a1/e1d2a130-15c2-54e5-09fe-162b9f1b0d18/_U540d_U79f0_U672a_U8a2d_U5b9a_U306e_U30c6_U3099_U30b5_U3099_U30a4_U30f3__U002821_U0029.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/98/18/5b/98185b20-42c8-c85b-842e-2d0771dc429f/_U540d_U79f0_U672a_U8a2d_U5b9a_U306e_U30c6_U3099_U30b5_U3099_U30a4_U30f3__U002822_U0029.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/07/7e/19/077e199d-1fe6-26ec-4a5e-eb14fd6691a8/_U540d_U79f0_U672a_U8a2d_U5b9a_U306e_U30c6_U3099_U30b5_U3099_U30a4_U30f3__U002824_U0029.png/1242x2688.png) ## Paper Map GPS In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Monthly Outing Pass | $4.99 | | 24-Hour Share Pass | $2.99 | ## Apps Similar to Paper Map GPS - [ドローンフライトナビ - 飛行制限確認地図](https://apptail.io/app/app-SSl/canada) - [onX Offroad: Trail Maps & GPS](https://apptail.io/app/onx-offroad-trail-maps-gps-VDs/canada) - [SASSY - 次、どこ行こう？](https://apptail.io/app/sassy-aiu/canada) - [タイムズの駐車場検索](https://apptail.io/app/app-IAZ/canada) - [東横INN公式アプリ](https://apptail.io/app/inn-kQjb/canada) - [Welcome Pickups](https://apptail.io/app/welcome-pickups-IGzb/canada) - [ExploreHere - Roadtrip Guide](https://apptail.io/app/explorehere-roadtrip-guide-orye/canada) - [Itineraries by TravelJoy](https://apptail.io/app/itineraries-by-traveljoy-BiCo/canada) - [Universal Studios Countdown](https://apptail.io/app/universal-studios-countdown-oTjz/canada) ## Paper Map GPS Available In - [Austria](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/austria) - [Belgium](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/belgium) - [Belarus](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/belarus) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/canada) - [Dominican Republic](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/dominican-republic) - [Algeria](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/algeria) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/ecuador) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/indonesia) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/japan) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/south-korea) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/kuwait) - [Lebanon](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/lebanon) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/mexico) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/malaysia) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/netherlands) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/united-states) - [Uzbekistan](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/uzbekistan) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/vietnam) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/paper-map-gps-xWYA/south-africa) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
