## PaperDPI Description
Reprints start with one low-resolution image.

"Will this still look sharp printed at this size?" That hesitation — mid-meeting, or right before you send files off — is exactly what PaperDPI clears up in a few seconds.

It's simple. Type in the image's pixel dimensions, pick the paper size you're printing on, and PaperDPI estimates the effective DPI/PPI and tells you, in color, whether the resolution holds up.

■ Your client's images never leave the room
PaperDPI doesn't open or upload image files. All it needs is the pixel count, so you can judge a file you've been handed without sending it anywhere.

■ Works with no signal
DPI calculation runs offline. In a print shop or a meeting room with no Wi-Fi, it works just the same.

■ The answer is a color, the moment you type
Type a number and the background changes. Green, you're good to send. Red, take a second look. No button, no waiting.

■ Catches the weak edge most people miss
Orientation sorts itself out. PaperDPI then judges by the weaker of the long and short sides — so a shortfall on one edge won't slip past you just because the other looks fine.

Paper sizes: ISO A-series (A0–A6), B-series (B0–B6), business cards, postcards, and L / 2L photo sizes.

How to read the result:
• Excellent (green) — 300 dpi and up. Commercial print quality.
• Good (blue) — 200–299 dpi. Plenty for posters and flyers.
• Fair (orange) — 150–199 dpi. Fine for large-format or newsprint; may look soft up close.
• Poor (red) — under 150 dpi. Likely to look rough; consider resizing or re-exporting.
