Story
The communist state of Arstotzka has just ended a 6-year war with neighboring Kolechia and reclaimed its rightful half of the border town, Grestin.
Your job as immigration inspector is to control the flow of people entering the Arstotzkan side of Grestin from Kolechia. Among the throngs of immigrants and visitors looking for work are hidden smugglers, spies, and terrorists.
Using only the documents provided by travelers and the Ministry of Admission's primitive inspect, search, and fingerprint systems you must decide who can enter Arstotzka and who will be turned away or arrested.

I've just started playing Papers, Please & somehow on the 3rd day, when the old man showed up with no documents, i couldnt proceed with "interrogation". I kept pressing the "interrogation" mic multiple times & it does nothing. Help!
The Long Awaited Port The Game Deserves
I have always longed for a mobile port for this game ever since the game originally released. Now that it is here, I have been playing this non-stop. It truly is fun taking the role of a checkpoint inspector. Glory to Arstotzka!
Why is there no sound?
I bought this game not long ago, This game is great and addictive, why there isn’t any sound ?? Is it due to iPadOS issue or game issues?
Should be 5 stars game but...
I got Papers, Please not long after it launched but somehow never found time to really sit down and finish it. I am still in the middle of it but have discovered an issue that made it 4 stars rather than the 5 it deserves... I can’t see my achievements!!! After going through so much trouble (and getting so many citations), it is really frustrating to not be able to see the fruits of my sacrifice. I hope this can be fixed soon.
Addictive!!!
Simple graphics but fun and addictive!!
Worth it!
I was initially skeptical about this game, $10 is pretty pricey. But after playing this game, I can honestly say it's worth every cent. Who would've thought that playing as a Immigration/Customs Inspector would be so much fun?
Indie gaming at its best
This game was one of my most memorable gaming experience of 2013 on PC. I remember it better than any other AAA games. It even managed to make me role play more than in any rpg. Don't let graphics stop you. Just put yourself in the mindset of an Eastern European during the Cold War and let the game tell its story and put you in its situations.
Can’t believe I waited 11 years to play this.
I’ve seen it a thousand times in the AppStore but wasn’t at all interested. Finally I purchased it last week thinking I’d probably just wasted $4.99. Was I ever wrong. I freaking love this game!! I should not have waited 11 years but I am having a grand time now.
One of the best game I’ve played
There’s 20 endings and each does a good job at what it tries to accomplish. The gameplay is surprisingly not repetitive and it’s a great life sim. 10/10
