By using the magnetic compass found in your phone as an electromagnetic field (EMF) detector, Paranormal Recorder is able to turn on an audio recording only when there are abnormal EMF levels. The recordings created by Paranormal Recorder often contain unexplainable noises and voices. Researchers have given these types of recordings a name, electronic voice phenomenon, or EVP. Cited by many as a breakthrough in paranormal research, Paranormal Recorder has seen almost 1500 examples of EVP with associated abnormal EMF levels shared with the world. Creating a paranormal recording is simple. 1. Press the 'Start EVP Detection' button and leave your phone plugged in and near an area of suspected paranormal activity for an hour or two. 2. Press the 'Stop EVP Detection' button and select the 'Analyze' tab. If there was any paranormal activity selected your recording will be listed. 3. Although you left Paranormal Recorder running for hours, there should only be a couple minutes of paranormal activity (if any) detected. Listen through the disruptions, classify them, and share the results to SoundCloud for other paranormal investigators to assist analyzing. If you are not getting results, try another location and make sure your EMF thresholds are set correctly. The default settings should work best, but some areas may have different background EMF levels and need adjustment. Join the hunt for paranormal activity today with Paranormal Recorder. ## Paranormal Recorder Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple6/v4/a4/ee/42/a4ee42c6-9e54-f6a9-10f4-d3130fbac579/mzl.xuxpmney.png/640x920.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple4/v4/bf/7c/16/bf7c169a-226e-1370-0647-55bd373366dc/mzl.kgnhpvah.png/640x920.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple6/v4/e9/63/3e/e9633e3e-9a2a-3284-be6e-f8b96801a855/mzl.ezawfbpz.png/640x920.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple/v4/bc/b8/02/bcb802db-81bf-97c1-9def-aac515c89f50/mzl.wizzjcgl.png/640x920.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple/v4/44/c7/3b/44c73b57-bcdc-a76b-02ed-e4cb7d9df035/mzl.aipctgfa.png/640x920.png) ## Paranormal Recorder Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 19 (45%) - 4 stars: 2 (5%) - 3 stars: 3 (7%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 18 (43%) ## Paranormal Recorder Reviews in United States ### *---- "No update" So I buy this app and there has not been no update so now I can’t use it with the 11 iOS ...any chance I get a refund or update the app please -- THEDIRTYG3RM, 2018-07-04 ### ***-- "Please update" I would give this app 5 stars for catching EVP’s, This app has caught several class A EVP’s plus many other EVP’s. It needs to be updated so it will work on ios 11. iCloud will not download the app to my iphone now that it is ios 11, I’m afraid I’m going to lose my recordings. Would be nice if there was a way to transfer the recordings to my computer some how. It had an occasional glitch while listening to the recordings on continuous play with the start/stop button. Please update, I really don’t want to lose my really clear class A EVP’s. -- Erin's EVP's, 2018-04-26 ### *---- "Used to work good. Not anymore." I paid for this app but since you guys obviously just took the money and ran you’re not going to update it to work with iOS 11. I had a few very clear class A EVP’s on here and now I’ll never hear them again unless you update your app. Please fix it so it’s compatible. -- Yankeefan8995, 2018-01-14 ### *---- "Paranormal Recorder" NO LONGER APPLICABLE on iPhone/IOS 11 Apple products. Fun while it lasted. -- •KwikEscape•, 2018-01-12 ### *---- "Will NOT DOWNLOAD PLEASE REFUND!!!!" I've tried for way over an hour and even deleted and reinstalled, but to no avail. Update Ap or refund!!! -- dlkappleipad, 2016-11-26 ### ***** "Congress Plaza" We will be trying this out here tonight on the fourth floor of the south tower. America's most "haunted" hotel. -- endurabletwig0, 2016-11-01 ### ***** "Class "A" EVP captured with this app!😱" I consider my self sensitive I had downloaded this app sometime ago due to activity in our home. I was alone and started feeling increased heart rate, drop in temperature, goosebumps, chest heaviness, shortness of breath. I became very on edge/anxious die to the Symptoms I was experiencing; this made no sense to me because I was lying on the couch relaxing. I turned the app on and started asking general Investigative questions, about 2 minutes in I received a class "A" EVP replying to my questions asked. "EVERYTHING" it was my first EVP and it was caught on this app and a class "A" The meter also had a significant decrease at the same time the EVP was captured. Becareful because you never know who or what you are talking with and the more you interact with them and they know you can hear them ect. the stronger experiences good and bad/evil can occur. -- Lalalalalalalalalalalalalaka, 2016-10-20 ### *---- "Paranormal recorder" Purchased the app but are unable to use it since always shows in the cloud.Unable to download. Will like my money back. Thank You. -- Lovealldash, 2016-09-18 ### *---- "Paranormal Recorder" This app doesn't load on iOS 10, please get this fixed. Once fixed, I will rate this again. Thanks 😔 -- KSK490101, 2016-09-17 ### *---- "Really want to use but....." I purchased and it will NOT download. It starts and goes through the process but then it's just not there. When I look in the App Store it has the cloud and arrow beside it. I would like my money back if it's not going to work. Maybe don't include the iPad Air 2 as compatible iPads if it doesn't work with it! -- SniffanyB, 2016-07-31 [View all Paranormal Recorder reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Paranormal Recorder Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Paid | Norway | Utilities | #228 | ## Apps Similar to Paranormal Recorder - [Emf Detector Radiation Reader](https://apptail.io/app/emf-detector-radiation-reader-GWQ/united-states) - [SPLnFFT Noise Meter](https://apptail.io/app/splnfft-noise-meter-dCQb/united-states) - [Infrasound Recorder](https://apptail.io/app/infrasound-recorder-adYb/united-states) - [ScriptRecorder for LineLearner](https://apptail.io/app/scriptrecorder-for-linelearner-jqtf/united-states) - [Necrometer](https://apptail.io/app/necrometer-bTym/united-states) - [Necrometer - Spirit box](https://apptail.io/app/necrometer-spirit-box-Pbgo/united-states) - [TeslaVision EMF Detector](https://apptail.io/app/teslavision-emf-detector-Vggo/united-states) - [lossless field recorder](https://apptail.io/app/lossless-field-recorder-Ynko/united-states) - [SkyScan-UAP](https://apptail.io/app/skyscan-uap-xBHq/united-states) - [EMF Detector - Ghost Hunting](https://apptail.io/app/emf-detector-ghost-hunting-gLew/united-states) ## Paranormal Recorder Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/paranormal-recorder-Ptuz/united-states) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/paranormal-recorder-Ptuz/united-kingdom) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/paranormal-recorder-Ptuz/canada) - [Lebanon](https://apptail.io/app/paranormal-recorder-Ptuz/lebanon) - [Mauritius](https://apptail.io/app/paranormal-recorder-Ptuz/mauritius) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/paranormal-recorder-Ptuz/philippines) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/paranormal-recorder-Ptuz/singapore) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/paranormal-recorder-Ptuz/japan) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
