Parental Control App - Kidslox

The app is basically malware! Beware of installing. It will reinstall itself even if you remove it. I worked with Apple tech support to remove it and it still came back on its own.

My parents put Kidslox on my phone (for some reason) and as a result it multiplied itself across my entire phone both lagging it and causing it to turn off at random times. It also multiplied so much that as soon as time was added it would immediately block it. As soon as I deleted it to stop it from multiplying I locked my phone completely without my parents able to add more time to unlock it. If I was able to put negative stars on this app I would. And if anyone was asking, yes it’s still locked. It’s been almost a year and Kidslox still hasn’t fixed this “multiplying Kidslox bookmark”.

This app is the definition of helicopter parenting monitors we’re they go at all times? see messages?Being able to see everything they do??If you don’t trust your child enough to the point that you have to monitor there entire online life you should talk it through with them because controlling there devices might create a bad atmosphere and may start to hurt your relationships with them. So to conclude this please don’t get this app unless you want a bad relationship with your own children thank you for reading.

The app work and everything just I deleted the app sense I thought I didn’t need it but when I did everything was still under the lock thing of the app even if i deleted it? Just kinda confused on the does the parents have control over that on their phones locking it even if the other device doesn’t have it anymore?

It’s the worst f app

So pretty much I’m a kid and my mom got this app for me and my sister a few yrs ago and sooner or later my sister found out the password to it and told me so me and her have been being able to just unlock whenever and my mom doesn’t ask questions or anything one day I was tired of having to put the pass word in over and over again soooo I deleted and for the next week or so I had 0 problems then one day it just locked me out and I was confused by this and so I just shrugged it off put the password and moved on and I’ve just gotten used to doing this so I started to just not but today I’m trying to unlock it and stuff but then the password every time I tapped on it wouldn’t work so I turned off my iPad for a while hoping it was just a one time thing but I tried again later and it still wouldn’t and as I’m writing this it still doesn’t work so I don’t know what to do so any devs reading this can you please help with P.S- If you’re a parent don’t buy this this is coming from a kid it’s gets annoying plus if your doesn’t know the password you will probably get constant nagging from your kid if you set up it so it locks at like 5:00 or 6:00

Im the kid writing this but anyway parents if you want your kids to stay off their iPads or phones or anything please don’t do it this way, my mom downloaded this app thinking it’s gonna make me and my brothers more healthy and happy but really it’s not, this is gonna sound really dumb but literally it makes me and my brothers upset because we still have a longgggg way until we are adults and honestly I want to spend my years as a kid/teen to have fun instead of being controlled the rest of my teenage years until I move out,but let me get to the real problem of the app, when my mom gives me about an hour and 30 minutes it would lag and say I have 40 minutes or something to that point and whenever it gives me the 30 min warning 2 minutes later it gives a two minute warning that my apps are gonna lock and honestly it’s really annoying and frustrating, and here’s the thing that I really don’t like, whenever I don’t wanna use my phone the time keeps going so when I want to use my phone I only have ten minutes left because the app doesn’t pause the time when I turn off my phone and it’s really annoying so I kinda recommend to fix the app with the problems. Thanks.

Every time I give my child about 30 minutes, she comes running to me saying there’s only ten minutes. And it’s true I check in her iPad and I open the app, and it says there’s only ten minutes. 🥴 I don’t understand
