Tic Lock is an automated app blocker that turns screen time into a proven "Learn-to-Play" reward system. Tic Lock controls iOS apps on your child's iPhone or iPad. The app automatically tracks the time your child spends on educational apps and instantly unlocks their entertainment apps. No manual tracking, no arguments. **How does this app blocker work?** A parent creates a simple rule: "30 minutes of Khan Academy unlocks 60 minutes of YouTube." That's it. Tic Lock monitors educational app usage natively. The instant the timer hits the goal, reward apps are unlocked. When earned time runs out, the apps lock again. **Why is this different from existing parental controls?** Unlike legacy timers that rely on punishing restrictions, Tic Lock motivates kids to *want* to learn through positive reinforcement. Unlike chore apps that require parent approval, Tic Lock is fully automated. **What are the key features?** Privacy First: All usage data stays on-device. No ads. No data selling. Built on Apple's native frameworks. Automated App Blocker: Real educational app usage unlocks real rewards. Zero Parent Intervention: Set the limits once, and the system runs itself 24/7. Bring Your Own Apps: Khan Academy, Duolingo, Prodigy — you choose what counts. Configurable Limits: You decide exactly how much learning earns how much play time. Custom Shields: Visual themes explain to your kids why an app is locked. Full access requires a Tic Lock subscription. Includes a 14-day trial. Terms of Use: Privacy Policy: ## Parental Controls Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/33/82/90/33829049-b737-3700-44fb-7df13c26757c/SC1.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/37/bd/c8/37bdc848-3445-04c7-d11c-8280a51d1302/SC3.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/0e/52/ae/0e52aecb-0e14-2589-b2ec-cb48b3637c2d/SC5.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/2e/1d/26/2e1d2686-e65d-0eb1-55b1-7f51753542ba/SC6.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/0f/72/1e/0f721eb1-c74e-55e3-987d-d98e49d03e66/SC7.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/74/fa/7d/74fa7d7a-ae15-1cf5-02a0-6d9b9c63d380/SC4.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/de/6e/c0/de6ec037-0994-d726-8f34-6c0ab67811a5/SC2.png/1290x2796.png) ## Parental Controls Rating Breakdown in Canada - 5 stars: 2 (100%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## Parental Controls In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Solo Monthly | $8.99 | | Solo Annual | $59.99 | | Family Monthly | $14.99 | | Individual Monthly | $12.99 | | Individual Annual | $69.99 | | Family Annual | $79.99 | ## Apps Similar to Parental Controls - [Parental Control App - Grace](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-grace-qBQ/canada) - [Parental Control App - Safes](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-safes-rBQ/canada) - [Parental Values: Screen Time](https://apptail.io/app/parental-values-screen-time-VOIk/canada) - [LockIt - Parental control app](https://apptail.io/app/lockit-parental-control-app-hGom/canada) - [Family Guard: Parental Control](https://apptail.io/app/family-guard-parental-control-sybn/canada) - [Parental Control App - Blokada](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-blokada-rDdq/canada) - [Y-TRAC Rev](https://apptail.io/app/y-trac-rev-Imyv/canada) - [AMP Rewards](https://apptail.io/app/amp-rewards-JHww/canada) - [ScreenKin - Parental Controls](https://apptail.io/app/screenkin-parental-controls-DrNw/canada) - [Crochet for Beginners: Crova](https://apptail.io/app/crochet-for-beginners-crova-EGuz/canada) ## Parental Controls Available In - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/canada) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/switzerland) - [Cyprus](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/cyprus) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/germany) - [Estonia](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/estonia) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/france) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/united-kingdom) - [Iceland](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/iceland) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/italy) - [Lithuania](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/lithuania) - [Luxembourg](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/luxembourg) - [Latvia](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/latvia) - [North Macedonia](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/north-macedonia) - [Malta](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/malta) - [Slovenia](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/slovenia) - [Slovakia](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/slovakia) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/united-states) - [Bulgaria](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/bulgaria) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/parental-control-app-tic-lock-toxA/south-africa) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
