## Park Evanston Reviews in United States

### *---- "Won’t accept card"
It will tell you your card can’t be processed, no matter which card you use or how many times you try. Works fine on the rare occasion it accepts your money, but it almost never does.
-- Pxlr20, 2024-12-20

### *---- "Tech support?"
Tech support takes you to static page of FAQ and no option for more.
-- ord2lax, 2024-12-13

### *---- "Doesn’t allow time denominations less than 15 minutes"
No reason to not let me add just 5 minutes to my park time. I don’t want to pay for time I know I’m not gonna use, but that’s what they want - more money. Useless, avoid if possible.
-- Beatrice Balsevicius, 2024-10-19

### **--- "Where’s my wallet?"
This app is convenient but I’m annoyed that I am unable to set up a wallet and have to pay the service fee every time I use it. The fee is often almost as much as the cost to park. Why isn’t Evanston making the vendor update the app to allow wallet set up after the first use?
-- News Fiend, 2024-09-19

### *---- "Disappearing wallet"
Twice in a year I’ve opened this app to find that my account has been deleted and the value of “my wallet” is gone. Beyond the frustration of having to reenter a credit card number on the spot, it takes several interactions with the company to resolve it.
-- Onetoothee, 2023-12-18

### *---- "Parking Apps taking money"
My husband and I have both had to re-log in to our Park Evanston and Park Chicago apps, losing our wallet funds. The only way to avoid this happening again is to pay to park each time, not using the wallet feature but paying a 35¢ usage fee each time. I suppose making the wallet feature unusable is much more profitable.
-- Evanston Reviewer, 2023-09-20

### *---- "Super inconsistent app"
I regularly try to use this app twice a week. Within the last month, I’ve encountered “network error” twice and was unable to use even after uninstalling & reinstalling. Much easier to use the site to pay over this craptastic app. Do not recommend
-- negraham001, 2023-08-30

### ****- "Not working"
I am trying to pay to park, but all I get is a pulsating “P.”
-- Pastormvg, 2023-06-13

### *---- "Worked until the update"
It declines every one of my payments and I can’t purchase parking. I have tried to delete cards and add them again to the wallet and that didn’t work either.
-- GemmaCake, 2023-04-19

### *---- "Simply the Worst"
This application and the accompanying sidewalk signage are the worst. The ap loads really slow and has too many steps to complete to pay for parking. So many steps, that half the time, I don’t complete the transaction. Not out of mischief but because the ap isn’t user-friendly. Plus, why isn’t there a feature that allows you to end the parking session? Say I pay for an hour but finish my errand in half the time. Why can’t I get a credit? With only one or two signs per block, “meter” numbers are way too small to be legible. Give me a handful of coins and an old fashioned meter to plug anytime.
