Disappearing wallet
Twice in a year I’ve opened this app to find that my account has been deleted and the value of “my wallet” is gone. Beyond the frustration of having to reenter a credit card number on the spot, it takes several interactions with the company to resolve it.
Parking Apps taking money
My husband and I have both had to re-log in to our Park Evanston and Park Chicago apps, losing our wallet funds. The only way to avoid this happening again is to pay to park each time, not using the wallet feature but paying a 35¢ usage fee each time. I suppose making the wallet feature unusable is much more profitable.
Super inconsistent app
I regularly try to use this app twice a week. Within the last month, I’ve encountered “network error” twice and was unable to use even after uninstalling & reinstalling. Much easier to use the site to pay over this craptastic app. Do not recommend
If it asks you to reset your pin, beware !
One day I opened the app and it asked me to reset my pin. Doing so created a new account. I lost all of the value in my app based wallet and the company behind it refuses to refund unless I give them a screenshot proving the amount (which conveniently for them is impossible since they tricked me into replacing my old account with a new one.
Not working
I am trying to pay to park, but all I get is a pulsating “P.”
Worked until the update
It declines every one of my payments and I can’t purchase parking. I have tried to delete cards and add them again to the wallet and that didn’t work either.
Simply the Worst
This application and the accompanying sidewalk signage are the worst. The ap loads really slow and has too many steps to complete to pay for parking. So many steps, that half the time, I don’t complete the transaction. Not out of mischief but because the ap isn’t user-friendly. Plus, why isn’t there a feature that allows you to end the parking session? Say I pay for an hour but finish my errand in half the time. Why can’t I get a credit? With only one or two signs per block, “meter” numbers are way too small to be legible. Give me a handful of coins and an old fashioned meter to plug anytime.
So an app update means higher pricing?
Convenience fee? Thought we got rid of that a few years ago. Parking is high enough now you tack on a fee to use your app? No thank you.
Card declines after update
I can't pay for parking bc cards keep declining after the app visual update. I can't pay for parking because of this issue
Terrible and no customer service
I am not able to switch between the wallets of my account, because I had a legacy wallet from long ago that now prevents me from using my current wallet with the money in it. Seems like my money in that wallet has effectively been stolen and there’s been zero response from customer service.
Is this the update we’ve been promised forever? Because it is terrible and I’d prefer the app that actually didn’t steal my money.
