You can’t switch out vehicle plates if you mistakenly let the default be entered. Additionally you cannot delete old plates or switch the primary vehicle if it has a currently active session. Not to mention that there is asynchronous processing between you paying and it showing up in their servers, as evidenced by a ticket I received despite paying (successfully fought at a later date). -- J. The app loves to sit and spin and crash like a cheap date. But it’s not cheap, well not anymore at least. It’s three and a quarter now. You’d think with no meters the costs would be lower. But like everything else, you can bank on that going up too one day without warning. My personal saving grace, I don’t live in Columbus so I only have to deal with this garbage a few times a month. Do not recommend -- miiiah525, 2022-04-17 ### *---- "Poor application requirements or error in the app" I recently parked using the park Columbus app. I entered the time for 1 hour, then went to select the correct vehicle as I have more than one vehicle. The default was not correct, so I selected the appropriate car/license number. It took me back and made me enter the amount/time again and I submitted it assuming it was the correct vehicle as I had just entered it. When I came back out to my car I had a ticket. I tried to fight the ticket because I paid and entered the correct vehicle so I had no way of knowing I needed to enter the vehicle again that it defaulted back to the original. You should be able to see the screens I accessed to see that I did change to the correct vehicle. I contested this with the city of Columbus and they said I had the wrong license number that I paid for. If you are not going to update to the number corrected once it is entered and before the transaction is completed you should definitely let people know. This is ridiculous that I have to pay the $30 ticket. When I contested the ticket I asked them to go to the app and confirm I made the change and that is how the app worked and they denied because it was the wrong vehicle. Did the city follow up with you to confirm if I elected the correct vehicle? If you don’t update the vehicle you need to let your consumer know as I think this is a defect or a poor application requirement! I think you should be responsible for my ticket. I am emailing the screen shots to you.
