When a vehicle enters the car park, the parking system detects and automatically activates the parking session through a parking app. Parking charges are collected backend and there is no need for motorists to manually activate the app, or remember to top up their cash cards when they exit. This new parking experience will benefit motorists in various ways: - No more barrier breakdown and jam in car park - No more having to remember to activate and stop parking app and to top up cash card. - No more having to press for paper receipt at gantry This new generation parking system delivers a seamless parking experience for motorists. Really!?" Because of this carpark system i avoided visiting Northshore Plaza. Many times my cashcard has sufficient amount and fully inserted into the IU but the gantry never deduct from my cashcard while i waited a good 10seconds at the gantry. Only to receive sms alert from HDB later that i did not pay my parking fee. Come on! Its not fair to motorist who genuinely wants to pay their carpark fee!!! Why install a system that gives more problems than solving problems? And my IU is not faulty, even after upgraded to my new OBU i also encountered same problem. This system is not helpful at all. Thats all i can say.
