Explore on foot, by car, on a bicycle, or hike a trail. Go behind the scenes and discover the untold stories of your favourite locations.
- GPS features: See your location on maps, get customized lists, and use automatic GPS activated self-guided tours. Link to your favourite maps app to get turn-by-turn directions to your destinations.

- Relevant website links: Looking to book a campsite or buy a Discovery Pass? Find the information you need with quick links to relevant pages on the Parks Canada website.
- Favourites: Save your destinations, tours, or any page on the app to your profile page. No login required.
- Available offline: Download the app in advance and use it when you’re offline. Download guided tours and use them from anywhere - including places with no cell service.
Note that by using GPS features, you can see your location on maps, get customized lists, and use GPS triggered self-guided tours. Continued use of GPS in the background can significantly decrease battery life.
When I can use this app, it is great. The self guided tours are wonderful. The problem is if you use the app, then attempt to use it again, all you get is a blank white screen and one word: loading. It goes on like that forever. Sometimes it takes until the next day before you can use the app again. I wish the self guided tours were available on the regular website, if this issue cannot be addressed.
Almost… :(
Every attempt takes me to a “Page Not Found” Error 404. Really want this app to work… I’m rooting for it but it’s crap currently.
Pointless app
Useless app, that redirects you to the awful website. If only parks Canada’s site was like Québec’s SEPAC site.
Bring back the trails map!
I used to use this app all the time to choose trails for our family while in various parks, as it used to be super easy and I could do it quickly. Now that that feature is gone, I can’t think of any other reason why I’d need the app, if all it’s ever going to do is take me to the website. Please bring the trails map back!!
Map inaccurate 06/08/21
You still need to update some of the pins on the map. Some are missing and last I checked “Beaver Pond” was not a National Park.
Travail de fonctionnaires
Difficile à naviguer, pas vraiment d’informations utile ergonomie catastrophiqueTout juste bon a remplacer une brochure papier. Très décevant.
Booking / Reservation
When can the app allow us to have the same capability as the website to reserve camp sites?
Otherwise I don't find the app useful.
So much potential
Love the idea of this app and it is designed well however nothing actually works. So frustrating that filtering doesn’t work so you can’t narrow your searches. Too much for a phone screen to manoeuvre without filters.
Cool app
Can you make maps of the trails? For example, in Oakville, there is the sixteen mile trail. It would be nice if the different routes on the trail were mapped out. I would love to see all the Ontario trails mapped :)
Poorly designed
Not a very intuitive app. I found it more confusing than helpful. It is better to go straight to the website.
