There are two main types of activities, Summits on the Air (SOTA) and World Wide Flora and Fauna (WWFF). SOTA is an award scheme for radio amateurs and shortwave listeners that encourages portable operation in mountainous areas.  WWFF is an international program where Amateur radio operators are encouraged to operate portable from designated nature parks and protected nature areas. The Parks & Peaks app brings a convenient interface for these activities to the iOS user, both activator and chasers alike. Users are presented data formatted for a small screen from the Parks & Peaks website ( and are able to view and create spots as well as alerts and it also contains tools such as Find Sites to support the activities. This version allows entry of QSO logs which can be exported and emailed to the appropriate award websites or managers straight from your device. Logs can be exported as ADIF or CSV.   Mapping of parks and/or summits is now included and you can plan your trip by viewing other sites around the one you plan on activating. ## Parks & Peaks Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource122/v4/43/96/01/439601c6-7e86-2943-7fad-f498ab783db6/c112e0c3-4c88-42d3-97ff-f97e6b16f15a_IMG_4810.PNG/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/63/bf/e3/63bfe307-8eff-4f66-6d15-18de85ed1fa4/2b5bb61c-4903-40c8-9685-748b00bd4bf6_IMG_4801.PNG/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/85/90/a7/8590a79b-22dd-e05d-4d2f-464212d9487f/4e1df5cb-e8e3-4a57-9db3-44a05a3921b9_IMG_4802.PNG/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource122/v4/2f/f4/b2/2ff4b27d-3ae3-78b0-da26-f8ca743dd80e/b24e5cf4-5454-4757-ab16-828b451c2e20_IMG_4804.PNG/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/70/7a/3b/707a3b0e-f0f9-7249-e265-31019502a37f/9dcb2914-5f0e-4946-a760-0ac7dee56d28_IMG_4806.PNG/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/10/92/4e/10924eaf-e361-be79-1e8d-35b0caf3a764/3ee5a74a-7eac-43bb-bd0e-0bdda639222e_IMG_4807.PNG/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/81/77/70/81777027-3de1-b02e-58e4-86c44e832118/0a550f72-17ba-47ad-b85f-9fc202fdcc7e_IMG_4811.PNG/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/c5/2a/34/c52a34d0-3eb4-05f8-c9ef-75b08ec06b45/1a5065e9-5ffc-4a83-afbb-c552e0825672_IMG_4808.PNG/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/f3/09/8c/f3098cf5-3367-a826-238d-17734b31475a/fc2dc631-35eb-4041-bf8b-23f03133d1e9_IMG_4812.PNG/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 10](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource122/v4/3e/92/bf/3e92bff7-309a-06f4-fc3d-915052c0768a/57172bbd-241f-4a4c-8785-835a0de9f12f_IMG_4813.PNG/1242x2688.png) ## Parks & Peaks Rating Breakdown in Australia - 5 stars: 12 (86%) - 4 stars: 1 (7%) - 3 stars: 1 (7%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## Parks & Peaks Reviews in Australia ### ***** "Excellent" Perfect companion for activation or chasing SOTA or WWFF. Notifications of other activators spots or alerts. Does exactly what it says on the box without fuss and with a simple and elegant user interface. Sue the developer is a wiz with her heart in this app. Any reported bugs are immediately seen too. The App has improved and added functionality over time. Best field App for Parks and Peaks, period! Thanks for your hard work on it Sue. -- mossmoss66, 2021-02-11 ### ***** "Thanks for a great app" This app is great for recording logs and posting spots. I prefer this app to the other platform VK equivalent. Logs are easy to export and parks/summits are easy to find via search. -- Tittyhitler, 2020-09-27 ### ***** "Paperless SOTA logging for iOS" Sue has put in amazing work over the last year expanding PnP to be the fully featured iOS app for SOTA and Parks activations. I can finally go paperless AND get my ADIF logs exported properly at last :) DE VK2GPL -- Cycloptivity, 2019-10-05 ### ***** "Great app" Very handy app on a summit or in a park. Helps to alert and spot. Index of nearby parks and peaks is handy if you didn’t note the reference numbers before setting off. -- Keyclix, 2018-01-20 ### ***** "Parks & Peaks now on iPhone" Thanks for the effort to create this app. Looking forward to going portable with this and getting on air. -- Greg_AuS, 2017-05-20 [View all Parks & Peaks reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Parks & Peaks Discovered Keywords - parks - peaks ## Parks & Peaks Available In - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/australia) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/germany) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/russia) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/united-states) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/united-kingdom) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/italy) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/denmark) - [Estonia](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/estonia) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/spain) - [Finland](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/finland) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/france) - [Greece](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/greece) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/hong-kong) - [Hungary](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/hungary) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/indonesia) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/ireland) - [Iceland](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/iceland) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/japan) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/south-korea) - [Kazakhstan](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/kazakhstan) - [Lithuania](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/lithuania) - [Luxembourg](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/luxembourg) - [Latvia](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/latvia) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/malaysia) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/netherlands) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/new-zealand) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/philippines) - [Pakistan](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/pakistan) - [Poland](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/poland) - [Portugal](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/portugal) - [Romania](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/romania) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/sweden) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/thailand) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/turkey) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/taiwan) - [Ukraine](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/ukraine) - [Uzbekistan](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/uzbekistan) - [Austria](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/austria) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/south-africa) - [Belgium](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/belgium) - [Bulgaria](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/bulgaria) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/canada) - [Cyprus](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/cyprus) - [Czechia](https://apptail.io/app/parks-peaks-iNxe/czechia) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
