The most lovely services!
This app is so easy to use and helpful. I love being able to watch services on my cell. Love it!
I am deeply thankful to my Synagogue’s staff for creating such enriching and gratifying programming, offering new musical composition, words of wisdom and keeping us engaged so many ways…
Love this app for referencing interesting and current Jewish content or catching a livestream service.
I thank the PAS for their online generosity. The music is beautiful, the talks fascinating. The series of shorts about the Seder that I just watched tonight, were informative. Although I am not Jewish, (I am Catholic/Greek Orthodox) I stream almost every Friday night, the Kabbalat Shabbat to watch. I also watched streaming video of the last year’s Jewish New Year, 3 Yom Kippur services and a Sulkot service on PAS Connect! Your traditions are glorious! The glorious music enhances the lovely warm liturgy. I also enjoy the wisdom of the rabbis and like the Blessing of the Children. Lovely! My only whine is that there are no subtitles when the cantors sing since I don’t understand Hebrew. But that’s my deficiency. I should learn. I discovered and loved Jewish liturgical music long before I ever heard of the PAS. While surfing on YouTube last year, I discovered a stunning cantor. He was singing, I believe, Kol Nidrei. And then I streamed a lot more of his other music. Your other cantors are excellent, too, but Azi is still my favorite. Some YouTube text mentioned his affiliation. I Googled the PAS, signed up for the listserv, then downloaded the PASconnect app. So glad I did! You all are GREAT!!! And your synagogue is beautiful! Oh…I must not leave out praise for whomever does your video. It’s brilliant.
All around enjoyable service; three wonderful Cantors; Rabbis Cosgrove and Zukerman give interesting and timely Dvar Torahs that I look forward to hearing them each service; accompaniment music adds to the richness of the service and virtually the audio and visual make me feel as though I am physically present. And I almost forgot, the various interviews and lectures in addition to the regular services.
In my 70-plus years I have never experienced as talented and dedicated a duo as Rabbi Cosgrove and Cantor Schwartz. I could listen to them all day. PAS should be enjoyed by anyone seeking some spiritual uplifting through the insights of the Rabbi and/or the music of the Cantor. Thank you PAS. I am forever a fan. A live visit remains at the top of my Bucket List. Shalom one and all!
I am so grateful for your zoomed services. I think you have amazing cantors and no one gives a more moving talk then rabbi cosgrove. Many thanks. Mickey Grossman, Johnson city, to
