Says my ID is fake even though I got it from the legitimate CitizenCard website.
Description
Verify that a National physical PASS card is valid.
Take a photo of any physical proof of age/photo ID card issued by a UK National Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) card issuer to quickly check if the card you are shown is genuine.
The app only works for physical PASS cards that are nationally-available: CitizenCard, MyIDCard, Post Office, Totum NUS and Young Scot PASS cards. This app cannot validate local or expired cards.
We treat the privacy of all cardholders very seriously. The card and age verification process is robust. No personal details are stored within the app. The app needs an internet connection to work and contacts the card issuer’s servers to verify a cardholder.

Works like a charm
I work in the hospitality industry and this app allowed me to start accepting citizenship cards etc, found quite few fake ones. Had none these issues other folk have suspect they just bit angry there 30 quid id they bought from someone is fake

Have a real card , UV light and scannable QR code at back , used this app and card comes up fake
Updated made app useless
Since the recent update they have for some reason messed with the camera settings, good luck trying to get a in focus picture of an ID with the flash on full torch mode and the camera trying to focus 6ft away. Why they don’t just use the built in camera app is absolutely beyond me, or at least let us take a picture with the normal one and verify it with theirs.

Says my real card is fake sort this out
What’s happened
This app was brilliant before the update. Now I can not use it what so ever as I can not turn of the light and no there is no toggle button for the light to be switched off. I have an iPhone 8 . This app was important for my job. Can we have a toggle button please
