Get it. Worth it.

Near instantaneous chat or FaceTime with a vet to talk with you about your pet. If I notice peculiar behavior I’ll video it and share it with the doc and can help you decide if it’s an emergency situation or not. Cherry Eye, Pain Scale, Panting etc. Guides you on what to ask your local doc and followup care recommendations. Thanks to T-Mobile Tuesdays I got this app for free and will always renew it for my senior doggy Olive. Thanks guys! 🐾🫶🏻

Fake reviews

I guarantee you all these five star reviews are fake. I don’t understand what these “professionals” can do besides tell me to go see my vet. Pretty much a waste of time. They literally can’t tell you anything, I guess in fear of being sued, so there’s really no point. All you’ve got is them asking you a ton of questions and then telling you to go see your vet, even for something as simple as your pet itching. I had a free one year trial and still canceled it after one week just to get it off my phone and free up space lol.

This app actually is helpful. It also gives some peace of mind

Not worth it

juuvan on

I used this twice already, and the same experience the “vets” want you to see the local vet. What is the pong of chatting with verified vets if they can't do anything? That is if they're even certified or even vets

This is fraud. Do not join

I have had this service for about 2-3 years. I had a claim that was paid and no issues. The dog died. Then just a little over a week ago my golden had a big hole in his chest, bleeding, and limping, shaking in pain. I contacted the vet tech on app yo get permission to go and went. After X-rays and sedation to clean out and stitch the hole, she was ok. I turned in the required paperwork twice. They told me it was incomplete so I got new copies from vet and sent again. The denied it because they say it wasn’t an emergency. I fought w them on this and they stand by it’s not an emergency. This did not make sense as she was obviously needing emergency care and without it could have gotten so much worse and even died. I canceled this plan and letting everyone know to stay away and don’t spend your money on this. Why would they say it’s an emergency then change their mind afterwards. I feel something has changed about this company in the past 6 months or so.

It’s not EMERGENCY CARE AT ALL

I have been with PAWP for over 2 years never had a claim - did text with a vet Assistat which they will tell you it’s not a vets advise only an assistant but ok fine wanted info on my dogs foamy saliva and the advise was straight off google. Knew everything they said from already looking at google so no real help. But then one morning woke up to find my dogs eye extremely bloody with large amount off mass hanging there covering the eyeball. Blood is every where on her face and eye is looking completely backwards. As I started to look closer you could see trama to the eye. We had no idea how it happened but panic immediately took over and we rushed to the vet before they even opened to be the first. We covered the eye slightly to slow the bleeding and then began foaming at the mouth. The vet came in early after we left emergency text and said she had to go into surgery immediately and was rushed in where her lid and cut cornia was stitched up. HER EYE WAS IN JEPORDY OF BEING LOST! We were fortunate to have the greatest vet that truely has compassion but here’s the worst part. We filed the claim exactly as PAWP said and waited a week for claim of $1050. That was just the emergency surgery to save her from bleeding out and losing her eye. It went on for more care for what we knew we would pay but THEY DENIED HER INITIAL LIFE/EYE SAVING SURGERY! This is NOT AN EMERGENCY FUND TO HELP! Read the fine print. Rip off. WARNING I ADVISE TO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS JOKE OF A CARING COMPANY

Terrible

Since it went to app format, even logging in isn’t easy. Keeps wanting to sign me up, then recognizes my email, and then dead end.

Lying thieving scum

theheatherfawn on

They sold me a year long subscription knowing that I live in the state of Texas where they are NOT allowed to do business or even write scripts for flea meds. When this was discovered, did they apologize? No, they did not. Did they offer a refund for the unusable subscription? No, they did not. They stole my money & continue emailing me every day asking me to buy insurance for my dog that is also NOT valid in the state of Texas. Stay away from these lying thieves!

Worth every penny and more!

Saved my dogs life! We signed up for Pawp and used it a few times for after hours issues and found it incredibly helpful. Then we had an emergency and boy was this app a lifesaver. We got on video chat when our senior dog started showing signs of labored breathing. The Pawp vet immediately recognized Lady needed to go to ER where she was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. She got excellent care and the Pawp Emergency Fund covered the cost! Cannot recommend this app/service enough.
