App is laggy and often you have to refresh and mobile site is also hard to use. 
It’s an app that connects pet owners and pet sitters but does not take any responsibility for pet sitters or pet owners. Pet sitters if you get bitten, you are on your own.

I think the service this provides is very good . But the app is not very functional, it takes a long time to load anything, it crashes every time I use it. I was able to book and connect with the sitter but messaging became troublesome due to loading and errors.

Consider this your warning. If you’re a pet sitter looking to pick up some extra work do not use this app. They will threaten you if you grab the contact number of someone who has specifically asked to be contacted via their mobile and then will mark your account as ‘not active’. Not only this but they will not pay you for any bookings completed once your account is marked as ‘not active’ and when you contact them about this threatening legal action they will not respond and delete your account + cancel any upcoming bookings instead. I’ve never been so horrified by a service based business in my life. STAY FAR AWAY FROM PAWSHAKE.

I’ve been sitting as a job for years, and had more sits set up with Pawshake but after one crazy pet owner complained without evidence of a breach of agreement, they deleted my account without warning or communication and cancelled upcoming sits. I still haven’t heard back from them! 

They really don’t have a fair system and can cut your account without giving a reason at all.

Beware and don’t rely on this as a source of income!
