Text Invite to renew doesn’t work
It’s impossible to renew parking until the last session has expired leaving me vulnerable to a fine. Just leaves you anxious especially when renewing remotely. Very irritating is receiving a 5 minute warning/reminder inviting you to rebook only to be refused
Beware of this App
BEWARE of using the PayByPhone app. I used it to park in York. It said that Apple Pay wasn’t responding and went back to the payment screen, so I used the ticket machine only to find later that PayByPhone had charged my card. The ticket machine is cheaper, more accurate, more secure and doesn’t store unnecessary data about you.

Tried to pay at carpark phone just buffering when I went on Apple Pay and so was completely unable to pay until I came home six hours later. Have now paid for one hour but no idea if this is acceptable. this is a very very complicated system and have no idea how elderly people could possibly use it.
Past issues with payments
The app decline’s payments, it has caused me to get a parking fine as I was not able to make it back in time even though there is funds to cover the cost. Update: The fine and payment issue has now been resolved.
Poor interface
The interface in finding the relevant car park is weak compared with other similar apps.
Signage in car parks not as comprehensive as in car parks using other apps - the Newbury multi storey only has signage on ground floor - very limited signage also.
Login faff when you’re in a hurry
Not the worst login / password change experience, but why make it different and non-standard.
Email verification
I used to get email confirmation of purchase and time. Then it stopped for i while. With new update every time i use it keeps asking to verify email. It seems it can verify it as i am not getting the email code!

A very frustrating experience as the app kept timing out on us, but we got there eventually. Thanks to the developers for their response — we live in hope!

Charge a service charge for something which helps the company AND a text charge!!!!! RIDICULOUS!!!!!!
