This app wants me to upgrade to the latest version of iOS. I’m already on the latest version for my iPhone (15.8.3). So, I should buy a new phone just to pay for parking? Madness. Such apps should work on the lowest version possible not the highest.

App Not Reliable: the app has too many flaws, meaning it carries a lot of risks with debit cards and credit cards. So far what I have learnt the app that was updated a couple of months ago which has allowed fraud prevention measurement to be disabled. This in fact declined the card by the bank, giving the reason that fraud prevention measurement were no longer in place. I emailed idiots several times who actually run this so called risky app. The last response I was told it was being looked into, as I didn’t get any further response from the so called support team. The bank then advised to use Apple Pay and I did just that. It had worked for few weeks and on Saturday 21/12/24 , Apple Pay seamed to be greyed out and you cannot pay with the card entered manually either. So the question is what on earth were these idiots doing to investigate this issue? They were supposed to be looking into this since 24/09/24. I am not going to message these imbeciles who actually trying to avoid this. They seamed to be bringing app updates, but not resolving the initial issue. I was talking to somebody else who had the same issue with the card being declined by another bank. I explained to him the reason it was declined was due to the app no longer allowed fraud prevention measurement. The cards are no longer safe to be used on the app as it was a risk of card info being compromised. So the choice is yours if you want to use this app or not?

I find this app so frustrating I repeatedly Park once a week in Abbeyvale. I use pay by phone because they are presumably the chosen provider by the local authority.. Despite phone numbers et cetera there is no alternative the app is continuously buffering through the whole period that I am. Parked. So I can never tell whether the payment has been received or not I can turn the telephone off and on and if I’m lucky it might tell me the time remaining therefore I know payment has been received🤷‍♂️ this is most disconcerting and constantly waiting to get a fine when I do everything within my power to pay for the parking. I can only assume it’s a problem. With their server.
