I have been trying to unlock my account through PayPal. No one could help do anything at PayPal. PayPal continues to continues to send the people that hacked your info on how to regain access again. It’s been a week of constant headache with PayPal being told to wait 120 days to access my funds. I have uploaded my state ID sent bank statements and provided debit card details that are linked to my account. I have be proven who I was and that the account is mine more than 1000 times. PayPal is headache to hard working honest people and then act like you have done them wrong. They tell you to that back office has denied you and everything falls on back office and then tell you someone is going to call you back and no one calls you back!!! I will never use this again and I don’t recommend no one using them at all!!!
It’s now an ad platform
I used to use this app all the time. Now I’m ready to delete it. To send or receive money you need to hunt through a dozen entries in the hamburger menu to find the right item. The rest of the app is an advertisement platform with “offers” and “for you” and a ton of other rubbish. You used to be able to easily pay someone from the home screen but no longer. Going forward I’ll use the website until some marketing genius ruins that, too. Zero stars.
Accidentally applied for credit card
The app baited me to apply to credit card after when I tried to login, horrible

Constantly freezes. None of my other apps freeze this is pathetic garbage.
iOS Version
For reasons too lengthy to explain, my iPhone uses 14.5.1. The listing for this app says it will run on iOS 14.0 or later. This does not work. The app is dead!
Add Apple Watch?
I would like to have PayPal on my Apple Watch for due date and something else and will be cool…. Same as other Bank too. Let me know! 👍🏻

After a purchase of crypto out of my PayPal balance, I was not allowed to transfer it into a wallet I have custody over. PayPal got their fees, but I didn’t get my money. Do not trust
Descent app HORRIBLE SUPPORT
Don’t put your money here. Don’t use them to buy crypto. They can’t manage their own internal policies in a way that supports their customers. Support is useless for anything beyond a fogotten password. If you need a straight transaction app, this is solid. Hold a balance, merchant, crypto? NO! There are far better options. 24 years with PayPal, this is my summary.

They recently changed/updated the app to basically sell you stuff. It’s basically impossible to use the app now. Old version was so much better.
