I regret buying this register. Aside from stalking your customers (which i don’t like) it offers very little. Every holiday season it freezes with PayPal demanding details on where we get our goods. There is no way to allow  customers to use two forms of payment on one order even when it is very large. There is no way to add sales with percentage discounts directly to particular items. It was clearly made by someone who never worked retail.

I just resumed using this app after a long break. It’s very nice that customers can tap to pay directly on the phone without the card reader. But I’ve noticed that the tip options disappeared from the app, so I’ve been losing tips since I resumed using this app. This is very disappointing. Please fix it!!

They keep removing/moving functionality without making it clear how to find *basic* actions— Like adding inventory before an event or updating tax details. It’s infuriating when you’re trying to prepare. Like, these are basic things which should be the absolute easiest functions to access. And the embedded help hasn’t been updated, so is of no use whatsoever.

We use Zettle for our business with the handheld terminal (chip and tap) and the app with manual card entry and tap to pay engaged. Both usually work well and overall I’d recommend this app to others, but there are a couple improvements I suggest:
1) during manual card entry for billing zip code the user has to continually flip the keyboard for each digit so locking the number of keyboard for that field would improve the UI, and
2) new customers ‘added’ for invoicing should automatically get updated to the customer list accessible from the app’s main menu.

I have had Zettle since it first came to the US and I just switched my phone from android to apple and it won’t allow me to have the app saying it’s blocked?? Not sure if it’s a Zettle thing or an apple thing but I may have to look into other options.

Will probably not continue to use Zettle. I want to be able to identify the client who made a purchase. I don’t need an email address. Zettle only gives me the option of adding an email address in order to track the purchase. PayPal doesn’t need access to my client list so it can vclog their email accounts with ads.

I have two Zettle devices with this same app. Logged into the same account. One doesn’t allow me to edit my products and the other does have an edit button. Also, there’s no way to limit discounts to specific items. If I’m selecting “50% off” for example, it applies to the entire cart. There’s no way I can go to an item and exclude it from discounts beforehand. What if only certain items are half off? It just doesn’t make sense to go through every individual item to discount them in a setting where there’s high traffic. PLEASE improve these features. 

Also in the device where I’m allowed to edit, I can’t even add my product to a new folder even though the option is there. It’ll allow me to write a name for a new folder and when I press the plus button to finalize, nothing happens. What’s the point of having this feature if it doesn’t even work on the app?

I’ve used Zettle for a few years now. It’s been a great app for what I needed. I’ve had no problems until two weeks ago. When I try to login it states “Just a Second” and sits there. I’ve tried deleting the app and added it back. I try login and now states “session has timed out”. I haven’t been able to ring out sales on my iPad for two weeks now. Luckily I was able to on my phone, but the barcode scanner won’t sync to it so it makes checkout slower. Support hasn’t helped. 
Time to start looking for a better solution!
