PayStay FAQ
Is PayStay free?
Yes, PayStay is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is PayStay legit?
⚠️ The PayStay app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Useless unless you have an Australian phone. Hello!! No one from overseas can use your car parking spaces! Short sighted, narrow minded, discriminatory! Need I go on. Unfortunately I’m not allowed to give zero rating, but this app should be in the negative!
Phone number was entered wrong so app rendered useless
No way to go back after phone number entered wrong - tried deleting app but it returns to same page so you’ve stuffed your app up by licking it on the confirm sms code
Still doesnt work with overseas phones
Why on earth do you need an Australian number to use this app?! It’s like you’re trying to make the dumbest app you can. And you’ve succeeded at that.
Doesn't work with overseas phones.
Wow. You would think it could work with your phone regardless of where you are from. Useless for visitors!!
Add apple carplay
Should work on apple car play
Awful UX and buggy as hell
This app works until anything doesn’t go as planned, then it crumbles.
Firstly, the app has you log in with a phone number, but you can only update your settings if you log in with an email. This creates confusion because suddenly you are asked for details different from what you’re used to. Also, why does this app need so much of my info, you’re just a parking app; who do you think you are‽
Don’t bother trying to use the forgotten password feature, I’ve been trying to get it to work for years, and I’ll still just parking illegally.
Even the fact I need to reauthenticate to add a vehicle is crazy. How many person are fraudulently adding other people’s cars so they can gift them free parking. In fact, LET PEOPLE DO THIS FOR ME!!!
It just seems like common sense has never been in the room where it happens
No support for Apple Pay
App requires a credit card to be stored. No option to use Apple Pay or other third party brokers.
What’s the point?
Why review something that’s a fixture?
And why say it could be easier to operate when you know its primary purpose is to get revenue?
The parker pays for any mistakes.
Terrible App
The muppets are at it again.
They have now updated the app again so I had to login again (used my vault password) and it didn’t work - no surprises. I reset my password and it was asking for my mobile as my user ID but when I reset the password I had to work out that it really wanted my email address. Now at the 2FA screen, I have a white screen of death doing nothing.
Useless and frustrating app that is a con.
How is this legal?
First of all it’s impossible to setup the app without giving them your credit card details and even worst is not possible to delete them. The prompt you for notifications which cost at least .50cents for what? It’s a basic function. Sometimes it show up on car play , sometime it doesn’t. Sometimes you can’t even log in a if you are in a hurry this just ruins your day. This app is forced on everyone trying to park, what if you don’t have a phone? Of if you just simply don’t want an other app that is tracking your purchases installed so you can park? How is this even legal?
