## PCGS Coinflation Description
Since 2004, Coinflation.com has grown into one of the most visited websites on coins and precious metals, averaging well over 500,000 unique visitors a month. Its melt value calculators have become the standard in the coin collecting and precious metals community for quickly determining the melt value for coins.

This app incorporates the most popular features of Coinflation.com and features the live 24-hour gold and silver price (updated every minute). The four calculators bundled into one app include U.S. silver coins, base metal coins, gold scrap, and silver scrap.

Unique features include:

- Automatic gold and silver price updates every minute, no need to "re-enter" the price from an external source. This live metals price update is the same feed used by over 650 coin dealers who conduct business on Certified Coin Exchange, the leading coin/bullion dealer exchange network on the web. www.certifiedcoinexchange.com.

- Beautiful coin images provided by PCGScoinfacts.com.

- Gold Scrap calculator modeled after the most popular gold calculator on the web, GoldCalc.com. Units include grams, milligrams, pennyweight, grains, and troy ounces.

- The new Silver Scrap calculator has three silver types, .999, .925 Sterling, and .900 silver. This allows the user to weigh a bag of circulated silver coins and determine the actual melt value. In addition, we've included non-traditional weights such as troy pounds, avoirdupois ounces, and avoirdupois pounds to help with eBay listings that may try to intentionally confuse buyers.

For more information on this app and to learn the current melt value of your coins, please visit coinflation.com.

## PCGS Coinflation Reviews in United States

### **--- "Meh"
Used to be a reliable resource. Seemingly has pricing issues once a week of late (roughly for the last 6 months or so). Might be time to find another quick-use app.
-- FigPNW, 2023-12-08

### ***** "Great app, but has not updated for several days. How do you contact the app maker?"
Great app, but has not updated for several days. How do you contact the app maker?
-- edrioasteroid, 2023-12-08

### ****- "Won’t show current data…"
Stuck on 3-18-22. Won’t show current prices. Not sure how to fix it🤷‍♂️
-- MunkleDave, 2022-03-23

### **--- "Infrequent metals price update"
While this app is helpful, it doesn’t update underlying metals prices frequently enough. Current pricing is about a week old.
-- Gffhjijigcddd, 2022-03-23

### *---- "Platinum? Palladium?"
What about platinum and palladium melt value calculator? Doesn’t seam like rocket engineering to figure out something is missing from your app. So no ideas for updating your app have been submitted? Like platinum and palladium melt values calculator added to silver and gold melt value calculator app? Hopefully this suggestion will inspire someone to the next step in evolution. 🤔
-- The Riddick, 2021-06-07

### ****- "Solid application"
Really good application for scrap value.
-- Arcpotato, 2021-02-28

### ***-- "Needs Gold Coin Melt Values"
Needs Gold Coin Melt Values
-- Kevin939516, 2020-11-05

### ***** "Great App, use it all the time!"
Found this app as a coin collector. Obviously it’s not for evaluating the value of most that I buy and sell, but many of us can’t resist at least a bit of “silver stacking”. Coinflation provides a quick way of calculating a fair trading price for US coinage of all types. Would be nice to add a line for Gold coins, too. 👍
-- ooucouf, 2020-09-12

### **--- "What happened?"
Several times lately, the app wouldn’t even refresh for me...for days. Now for the past couple days, it’s always over an hour behind.
-- Impala_69, 2020-06-01

### *---- "Update messed it up."
I can’t get to the gold on the app.

The ads at the bottom prevent you from getting to it. Please fix!
